hopefully they realize that players should be allowed to increase their life in ARPGs if they want to

This basically means that gear and stats doesn't matter. You get ffed no matter what you do.

Same here: I had 4 debuffs/effects on my witch in the first half second:
bleed - poison cloud - slow - and one more. ES is not recharging, dodge was not possible, because the poison cloud was too large, and the enemies so fast, that they melee-attacked me, as I come out of dodging. Some are jumping, some are dashing, some are... whatever. And this was white mob only. No blue, no yellow. But we should play slow, meaningful combat with combos. Do the enemies know your vision, Jonathan??? Seems not. Last edited by Sauerbrot#3244 on Apr 19, 2025, 11:22:24 PM

I spent months min-maxing. Buying top end gear. Stats don't matter. The results are still totally random. WTF??????????????????????

I have 2000 life, 4000 ES, 78+ overcapped resistance and I still get one-shotted by rates all the time. You can get hit for 30,000 elemental damage on a big crit easy. Nothing you can do about it except not get hit much.

So the way it works with one shots is if your health is lower than the number the monster hits on you then you run out of health

" If you have less than 2500 virtual HPs you WILL be oneshot if you allow things to hit you. 86% evasion fails 1/7 times. If the hit has a significant physical component then you're likely to die in just a few hits. I'm not sure what your build is but if you can get some INT, have more gear investment into ES, and then scale ES from the tree (or whereever) that should help a lot. |
