I had to stop watching today's interview

Maybe I tuned in at the wrong time but

When I tuned in, Johnathan and the other interviewers were mocking poe1's ability to have builds that are fast.

Johnathan and others were mocking their own game.

I was disgusted and closed the interview.

Jonathan has been mocking PoE1 every chance he gets. And to think this is the guy in charge now? How anyone can be optimistic about PoE1 is beyond me. I would even consider it naive to think there's any truth to them "supporting both games".

GGG will make 3.26 an undercooked mess, and they will use that mess to pull the plug. To create something good takes effort, heart and professionalism, and it seems GGG are lacking all of those these days.
That was not the only disappointing thing about the interview.

Where is the interview available to see? I do not see mention of it on the webpage.
Making a few light hearted or sarcastic jokes isn’t the same as mocking, especially when it’s about a game the devs themselves have poured years into.
If someone can’t handle a bit of sarcasm or playful commentary, maybe a live dev stream isn’t the right place for them.
Let’s not confuse humor with disrespect.

Joke's on him. PoE2 is exponentially faster than anything possible in PoE.

You can't flash step/shunpo around in 1. Even with MB and legacy movement flasks. I'm talking about no cooldown blink. They need to undo the damage they did to it in 0.2, but it's still possible.

This is a good thing, and the only thing keeping me playing.

I gotta bow out on this one. It feels like ...........
Its been a while since I played a game where I had to stop cause I got frustrated... In this one it feels like that's the case with every map!
Had high hopes for this one but maybe its not for the casual player???

This is not true like at all. What are you talking about. Are you talking about temporalis from season 1? That got nerfed? because poe2 isn't 'exponentially faster then poe2', like not even close.

speed

That's in crucible league with up to 10 screens per second, currently viable with bows, wands and maces as far as I know and right now you can reach one more breakpoint, going faster than the blink/100ms pre-nerf temporalis.

At the end of the day, both games have the same limitation of server-tick rate and PoE 1 is a lot closer on reaching that than PoE 2 likely ever will be.
