Content Update 0.2.0 -- Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt

This patch is terrible for Chaos builds. The hexblast was not necessary to nerf this hard. Hexblast was the only carry for Chaos build to be great. I really have to wait for 10s to wait for the curse to be at 50% expired in order to do my Hexblast. While I dodging my damn life and missing the opportunity to do my hexblast because of getting stunned by monsters. Why nerf the players who are definitely enjoying this game, while not nerfing the monsters? This is making me want to not play this game anymore, it is honestly a bad patch for our builds. I have been playing this game in the same account everyday and this patch has ruined my build that I've spent for many days. Even my friends are upset because their builds got nerfed too and could not do any damage that they want to do. I also have seen most random players complaining about this in the global chat and it is understandably relatable I would honestly change it back in order for us to enjoy this game fully. Listen to your community!

There's some annoying fps drops and lag every now and then, but other than that I've not had any issues getting on and playing. Trying out a huntress before I go poke at my Mercenary again.

ok, tried it. absolutly NO chance on act1 boss with minions after the shit nerffest. see ya maybe in 0.3

Anyone have an issue with the passive tree not comparing when adding points? holding shift no longer gives updated stats so can not go for pest pick... am i going mad??

Game is 20x as hard as it was during launch, and even that was hard before the nerfs to monsters. It's not supposed to be easy, but levelling isnt the game, its the pathway to endgame, endgame can be as hard as it wants to be, but act 1 is just dumb for 90% of builds.

Thank you to everybody for your honest feedback. It's a hard pass from me. Too bad. I had such high hopes for PoE 2. Wish those of you who enjoy it the best of luck. I haven't a single masochistic bone in my body, so.. Maybe next time.

I was just starting to get my blood mage to work with the hexblast, mid way act 2 cruel and now this is not remotely viable. I can't kill anything fast (i coudn't before but it worked), much less try to kill a boss. Btw, blood mage has nothing related to blood except losing life.
I don't understand this change. I haven't read the whole update, but if the arsonist+raging spirit build still works... Man, that thing about "characters being unique" is not true if people follow viable builds in order to not waste time like i did, which i bet is more than 50% of the community.
Also, if you need an alt to farm items for a class to work. Then the class is not well designed.

I'm gonna read everything and see if it works in some way or if i stop wasting time. It is a lot of great content tho, sad i can't try it yet.

i tried arsonist+srs, gave up act1 boss. no way :) take a look at the charts, they lost on leaguestart friday night 1/3 player in the first 8hours. well deserved :)

Thank you for this update, for months i kept wondering why i was still bothering playing but i loved POE1 so much that i keep giving you a chance but now with this 0.2 the 2 only builds that gave me a bit of fun got utterly nerfed, add to that multiple bugs, that it feel even more slow paced than before and i that went fron never dying to Pots help me! with a much more than neccesary bulkyness ( i wonder how newcomers will managed to farm with early bad gear ). Sincerely thank you now i give up this doesn't deserved any more time.
