Where in the hell has our feedback been even going?

I would think answer is pretty easy; they're not reading this forum at all

You need only browse this forum for 30 seconds to realize this is probably a good thing.

Well what should we do here then? Try brown-nosing and begging? If lot of people complain, that's the best feedback you can get. If they had even one person answering even mundane things like "we will look at that but no promises", I bet everyone would be more inclined to be constructive.

They never wrote anything or answered anything here (not counting forum mods locking posts). That's not how feedback forum works so it's no wonder people try to yell louder to be heard, and this just makes this "poe2 general rants" because it's clearly for us to just debate with each other.

It's not feedback if we are yelling to the void, and that's what makes people frustrated and hopeful that "maybe they'll at least read the post title if I write it in caps". Then out comes the old guard commenting "no u bad git gud" which helps no-one.

They do read this stuff and address it when they want to. You see it in the livestreams between leagues "We have been hearing alot about waystone sustain" and "We have heard your concerns about not wanting to do Uber bosses out of xp loss fear"

There are 2 issues people dont understand:

1. There is a difference between saying "the towers feel clunky and we have to do too many of them" where they will make there be less towers that affect more of the atlas. And saying "these devs have no idea what they are doing they cant design a melee class" or "the 4th acendency is too hard." one piece of feedback is contructive to what the devs have already build and the other comes from a high horse where you think you know more with 0 experience in the game.

2. There is no reason for them to sit here on forums and argue with people, they make their big changes for new leagues, the reason being is they dont want to make massive changes that bricks builds and destroys the economy mid league because people work hard on their characters. The only exception is a super broken interaction. The devs hear the feedback and know they will make major changes to address things within about 3 months.

They are reading but they dont need to sit here and explain themselves or their decisions to people with 50 hrs total played that say the game is too hard.
Nowhere.

The feedback forums are not functional, they only serve as a form of catharsis for the abused player.

It is not taken into account whatsoever.

The only thing that matters is the whining streamers complaining about giving people portals or whatever.

Feedback that's pretty constructive IMO, and has never been addressed by the devs: The game runs like doodoo, it's basically unplayable on older PCs (while not being visually advanced at all), and still stutters and lags on newer PCs. If the answer "you should manually configure the usage of the CPU cores" and the like appears as the response with an AAA-game, that's just failure. Basically, the game is cool, many wonderful things, it just runs like it's been optimized by an intern. (I get 15-20 FPS playing on the lowest settings with a 720p resolution, it hurts)

TLDR: Devs make the game they want, but it doesn't really work on a technical level

They said they stopped reading feedback on like day 3-5 after release. And at that moment they removed official feedback thread on Reddit.

Reason was... "they understood" what they needed to fix.

haha ;-S

also marketing brought in the overhyped tourist gamers, they bought in not knowing what this game is. . .an arpg that does not hold your hand like D4.

And its great that these tourists came. As they have paid for the full development of the game.
Dont worry they do listen to feedback, they just have their vision so obviously they won't agree with most feedback, especially feedback based on cluelessness, by tourists that only care for themself and not the game or by emotionnally charged players, those are probably all ignored/dismiss for very good reasons.
