Reality is that character MTX are all cosmetics with the exception of those rings, which people buy not for using as a cosmetic in a single character, but to keep track of drops, which is something players will want to have across all their characters simultaneously.

By the way, I'm not saying "customers are being misled", I'm just saying it makes no sense for it to be a single-character MTX. But you obviously didn't understand that because, well, no need to explain why... you do make sure people know why you can't understand stuff...
It's even worse when you realize you get 10x more value by using a free Google Sheets spreadsheet and manually keeping track of your currency drops after every map clear.
A well made spreadsheet would take less than 10 seconds to fill with the drops and it will provide you with much more useful data than this $12 MTX.
If you know programming, you can even make yourself a software to be even more accurate, faster and providing much more insightful data.

Your argument of "it doesn't matter what it makes sense to be, what matters is what it is" is the most comical thing I've ever heard, and the fact you're doubling down on your ideas is even funnier.

the obvious answer is: just buy multiple of them.

and while that would trigger answers which involve "greed" and "lying" and whatnot, please be rest assured that ggg always put the lowest priority on mtx handling.

don`t remind me how long we had to wait for the mtx stash, ggg was always like: "yeah yeah, we know. people spent money on the game and wanna comfortably show it".

Put things in sets for 5 USD. Both rings for 5. Three Portals for 5. I wont buy them for the current insane prices, and I'm not the only one.

Then again, who wants portals that looks like crap, weirdo pets, and obnoxious footprints like pastel alien flower buds.

Oh sorry this is a MTX. Yes, if they make you pay for something you should feel good about it, and you should be able to preview it.
It hurts them if people are constantly paying for things and then feel like it's not worth it, this will cause them not to buy anything in the future.

I felt like the waystone tab was pretty bad for what they were asking for it.
