Pilfering ring is so bad designed that seems a bit of a scam

I just bought the Pilfering Ring MTX, but i'm so disappointed...

First issue: in POE 1 you can view the drop info on inventory sheet, but it's not so comfortable because is on the MTX part. But it's ok.
In POE2 is totally stupid, you have to open the MTX shop, goes on cosmetics (the UI design is really bad here, compared to PoE1) and read from there.
Who the hell designed this? Seems that no one cared about PoE2. It's silly because there are hundred of MTXs that's not avaiable on 2. Then, the ring is avaiable, but it's not designed for it.

Second issue: why the hell it can be equipped on one character only? If i want to take tracks on the drops i have in a league, i want it for every characters i use. Or do you pretend i switch the MTX every time i change character?
I'm actually using a ranger for map clearing and a sorcerer for boss maps/trials.
It's so unconfortable to switch the mtx every time, so i won't use it.

Let be clear... i know that you have tons of more important things to do between the two games, i'm aware of it.
But it is important that when people use money on shop, they won't be disappointed.

It’s half cooked. Prob should’ve waited.
as far as re-equipping it on other characters......that is the case with ALL mtx. Why should this one be any different?

This ring should be an account-wide MTX like stash tabs, not a cosmetic-like one.

A good change would be: the ring is account-wide and it appears as a tooltip somewhere.

Hover over the tooltip and it'll show two blocks:
Currency looted on this league (account)
Currency looted on this league (this character)
Whether or not it SHOULD be is irrelevant......it is what it is and that was what was purchased.

It is a RING....a singular mtx equip. Like any gear-based mtx you buy.

This is one of the worst arguments I have ever seen. Hopefully GGG ignores you and actually changes that MTX.

You can ask an AI to make a Python script that would work much better than that MTX. And it's not even a cheap MTX at that.
GGG is 100% leaving money on the table by keeping the item as it is.

Because the idea of the ring is to track the currencies you drop on a certain league, not just part of them.
But to achieve this, you have to do a stressful switch operation on a uncomfortable menù every time you change character, which could happen even serveral times a day.

It should just work as the tree tracking the map you complete, or the clock who tracks the time you stay in an instance, to do a proper job.

Instead, the MTX who changes your appearance are fine as they have designed, because is like a real dress, if one of your characters have it on them, the others can't use the MTX at the same time.

The pilfering ring, as the pedometer, doesn't change your appearance.

Is the same as portal effects, or social frame.

Plus, and this is even worst, the use is shared between the two games.
So if you play PoE1 and PoE2 together, you have to switch it every time you change game, not only the characters.
Totally nonsense, it goes against the idea of having the MTX on both games, if you can't actually use them "on both".
It's for sale in the Characters section, not the Account section.

The description clearly states it's character use:

"The Exile's Pilfering Ring tracks amount of currency your character has picked up off of the floor."

Don't buy something that's clearly described and then come and complain it's not what you wanted it to be but exactly as it was sold to you.

lol okay....the worst argument you have ever seen is "Know what you purchased". Hilarious.

You're the kind of guy that goes to a restaurant and buys a meatball sub...only to complain that you wanted a chicken sandwich instead.
