The idols should have replaced scarabs, not the atlas tree. Just my two cents.

It solves the issue of players never using scarabs because they consume them... |

" Some people never use scarabs. They just sit in inventory or get traded away. These idols seem much better because they are reusable. Before Kingsmarch I just never bothered to use scarabs. Now I tend to sell them all. |

I play ssf for the most part and i always end up with 1000s of scarabs in random by the end of the league because in order to optimize for certain strats you have to save up for a long time to get enough scarabs to make speccing into things worth it.
Farming strats by sctrade players make scarabs get nuked into orbit. Scarabs and div cards should be ssf only so theyre not a balancing nightmare when stuff is broken. After the div card and unique scarabs were ruined i lost a lot of enjoyment out of the game. |

Of course thats true, if you read my post you would see where i expressed my annoyance with sc trade people like fubgun causing every farming avenue being nuked into orbit being annoying.
This is directly caused by the fact that sctrade economy is a shitshow and is balanced around people that play all day every day. Have you noticed that most of the farming strats that are good now require you to fight rogue exiles/bosses that are 100x more rippy than your average uber boss and require you to have a completely broken character that is only reasonably viable to do in sc. This kind of thing makes scarabs and div cards boring. You're more likely to farm a set of cards by stacked deck farming than actually farming the map they drop in unless you do these stupid strats. old scarabs and div card farming was just fine until apothecary strongbox farming caused ggg to change everything because that was the only viable strat to a lot of people that think they have to maximize like streamers. I would also prefer if t17s had the sent to the void mod on every one of them so people could really see how stupid they are for people in all leagues. Not just sctrade builds with stupid amounts of gear that you don't even need to farm ubers. |
