Only 70k players for poe1 with new 'league'
it's not league but event - that will take 1 month. It's not even a 15% of a content leaues had in poe 1. And you are writing on poe 2 forum not 1.

" Why would anyone want to watch someone play an ARPG? It's the most boring thing possible. |

" It was only interesting to watch in PoE 1 because you could get a bystander high from watching someone roll big fat numbers on their items. It's largely the only reason people watch PoE streamers unless they offer some sort of good commentary to go along with the game. Or chat while playing. |

" It's just chill. Depending if the streamer has a good attitude, good audio, good playlist in the background... sometimes the game doesn't matter much. I watch games i don't play. One of the chillest streams I enjoyed was Runescape even though I never touched it. I mean to make a simple analogy it's kinda like listening to radio, do you care what they talk about? Sometimes yes, sometimes it doesnt matter you just enjoy the ambiance. |

The POE2 major patch will take a long time regardless.
Putting a day or two of effort into POE1 makes sense. And restores the "tick tock" pattern between the two games. Because it is going to be months before there's any progress on POE2. Just too much work that needs to be done. |
