Mirror Of Kalandra Drop Rate is too low
All right.. let's take the races that have just been announced. If you would complain here, I would kinda understand. Rewards are Items, that you are not getting any other way ( aside from buying it for horrendous amounts of currency) from the market.
On the other hand, they are in no way OP, mostly just cosmetic. So yeah, knowing that there will only be a certain amount of them in the game, I would understand if you said "I have no chance to get this item" .. but a mirror... it is achievable, Very rare, but still achievable. I still think the mirror is in a fine place. |

Artificially overpriced items. Make a "multiplayer" MMO action RPG game, put any OP items in the game, make the drop rate to 0.0000001%, put a weird trad market in it and "Kachink" u are rich. The players chop each other up like hyenas. And we have even created a real-life trade and are using it to trick other people into it. WinWin.
Best example, now the race. An item that is total garbage, no idea what the set will look like, and see how it sells. They feed you rabbit food. But it doesn't matter, there are people who invest in Cu*k Co*n. |

The economy problems in the game (PoE2) are nothing to do with Mirrors. There is a huge amount of either bots or farmers (for profit) manipulating the market for RMT.
There is also the disparity between the utility and rarity of divines (which in PoE1 worked because they are used for meta crafting bench recipes) which is also being manipulated and is inflating the economy unnaturally. Both of these issues are fixable and fairly easily, but will GGG take action? I think it’s divine disparity they will unless meta crafting is intended in the future. As for RMT they could and fairly easily by using their backend to detect abnormal trading, manual confirmation and then banning (removing such RMT game currency with the ban) accounts with confirmed excessive amounts of divines and mirrors that have not dropped for them but have passed hands without comparable item in exchange. Edit: price fixing is a more complex issue and probably unsolvable by GGG but it’s a relatively easy thing for a player to avoid by using the website trade to confirm values of items and get good value sales by noting the handful of low priced items that never reply to whispers. february 18th, Mirror price : 1 120 divines (totally absurd)
february 20th, Mirror price : 1 800 divines (sure why not) Totally not a broken economy/structure, EverythingIsFine.jpg |

" btw i agree with you its not fine. lucky for us there is a reset but this will happen again unless something changes in the new season/league. will be interested to see what that change will be. i dont think increasing the drop rate of mirrors will change anything i think the issue is around exalts and divines. like i said most people included my self will never use a mirror / mirror service. i would rather make gear more accessible, lets be honest the only reason we want a mirror is so we can sell it and have options to try different builds etc. |

" It really depends, I want a mirror to use it, I want it to ask for a mirror service. But I will not do that, because even if I grind 10 hours per day, I simply cannot beat the current inflation. They either raise their drop rate or fix the current structure by making sinking exalts/divine a good return for the players, which is currently not the case at all. The econ is a pyramid, if the mirrors are worth 5000 divine you can be sure that all the currencies under it are gonna sky rocket as well. |
