I think a lot of people get confused because they never let people know what builds they are using when rattling off specs and problems. I would imagine meta builds along with juicing maps would be much harder to run compared to non-meta slower builds with less dense maps. It hard to compare things if we don't know how people are playing the game.

I am running the game with a much older 1070 ti on 1440p in medium settings and I have zero issues. If you really can't run the game with a 3090ti then the problem is in your rig, not the game.

It's a random issues with random people with random hardware.

"I have zero issues" it's not helpful, stop with that.
They need to improve performance.

"It's your fault"
"ITS EA!"
"Change your hardware"
"It's Windows 11 fault"

the problem shouldnt be the game, have you checked if the fan speed isnt shit, do the case have good air flow?, when did you last clean your pc?
are you sure it is the game that is using the entirety of your gpu?
is your CPU bottlenecking your gpu?

the game is terribly Unoptimized

I agree, since the last patch, anything semi heavy crashes me and its always udring a buffed up biome or trial when there is a lot at stake. losing all progress, waystones and trial currenty sucks.

I run the minion arsonist build, with rtx 4080, ryzen 9 7900X and 64gb (6000mhz) of ram and I still get random frame drops down to 7-15 fps.

This game is not optimized at all. I have tried every fix out there, and some of them helps for maybe a day. Then its back to the frame drops and insane stuttering. I dont want to go through everything every time I start up the game.

Ain't nobody got time for that.

gee i wonder why... you can maybe find some help in the old threads on poe1 forums from ppl running the first ever CoC builds. you can find them with keywords such as 'GPU benchmark' 'how to crash your team members PC'

Sure the game need optimization but you're having issues with a 3090ti? hard to believe. I have a 3080 and I'm over 60fps 99% of the times, the 1% is during tributes in certain maps but that's about it. Previously I had a 1070ti and it was doing OK but lots of 30-40fps moments. I can't see your 3090ti doing worst than my 3080, your CPU must be struggling.
