Atlas tree is probably the best thing that was added to the game. With SO MANY randomized features, having a little bit of deterministic content is a breath of fresh air. Now it would be more RNG. Now it would mean you'll need to trade for them. It's not exciting.
Wanna know what's exciting? Constantly knowing you're growing in power and performance, which is exactly what the Atlas tree did. I know this is just for testing but it's WAY too bold. Make the idols less impactful and just add it to the Atlas tree. |

These idols looks interesting BUT why the hell you give Poe1 players something that belongs more or less to Poe2 (poe2 maps looks similar to these idols Tbh) ??? Why the hell you do so much work for just a 1 month event??? We all know you need time for 3.26 but PLEASE GGG don't do the same mistakes blizzard or other company´s do.... Listen to the Player base even if you don't have the Resources for this... So many would be happy with just something easy from the past and yeah we got soooo many good things in the past just Mix them up, you need less Resources for these because you have these codes already... Don't be stupid guys.... GGG was ever Community based, you listen, you changed (if possible), you make Really Great events or Leagues... Now it looks like this: Oh the community cry´s for filler because these don't like poe2? Okay so Poe2 cant be changed so here we go, we give em PoE2 stuff to test and we call it EVENT, giving them all 2 - 3 days few information's without any start date so we can stretch the thing to a total of 2 month´s... This isn't Cool really, sad that GGG goes in this direction... |

" Another thing people have not brought up is this new RNG system will mean that we will not be able copy/share farming strategies in the community easily at all. Imagine Based or Cringe, when you have to match all the idols. That series will now be much less fun. I understand the urge to test PoE2 stuff in PoE1 but it is not the right thing to do the players that enjoy PoE1. Obviously PoE2 cannot have a mirror of PoE1's atlas tree given how different the atlases are, but GGG should test PoE2 stuff in PoE2. I was going to play until I saw PoE1's #1 mechanic was removed, but instead of just not playing as protest, I thought I would post so GGG can know why. |

Why?
Isn't this a one-month league? So we need to try out every new ascendancy. We need to grind for the perfect <insert league mechanic here> relic set just to be able to grind that specific league. No one asked for this. Everyone is happy with the trees because it's good, its polished its fun its a lot of possible content decisions. Bring the bald guy back :( Bring back Zana. Bring back PoE1 3month cycle. Fyi GGG: we want PoE1 content, we need it. you drugged us with this beauty and now trying to use us as guinea pigs for your PoE2 experiments. I’m 100% cool with testing PoE2 ascendencies in the current PoE settings. I was hyped for literally 0 game changes except for wacky ascendencies. For a 1 month event that is all that is needed. In fact, 1 month is probably too short!
Testing the awful endgame scratches out everything that is fun about PoE. I don’t see why this can’t just be added to PoE2 beta, it’s not like the endgame can get worse there. If this is implemented alongside the atlas, or instead of map crafting options I think it would be tolerable. |
