Put "Mirrored" status on the base item you mirror
" With the current meta, the game is already a complete joke. |

" Weird thing to say - from both of you. "A copy is enough"? Well, one mirror can only produce one copy. Furthermore, there is no such thing as "infinite duplicates" happening because mirrors work how they do, so not "all end up playing the same items". First of all, over 99% of players are unable to obtain a mirror and the "Mirror Service Fee", secondly, abusing bugs (exploiting) to produce duplicates (Temporalis for example) are not only NOT intended - they are bannable. So then stating something related to the "unbalanced meta" is, interesting. Sadly, I am not allowed to voice my suspicion, but let me ask something - Since when are you playing "Path of Exile"? |

This could be an issue IF mirrors dropped often, they do NOT.
There’s only 5 fully active players in our guild and in 7 years of PoE 1 we have seen a total of 3 drop, and that’s 1000s of hours (combined) played. IF the source item got tagged as mirrored when it’s duplicated I can guarantee that regular players will never get to use a mirror ever. If I had a mirror worthy source item that could be copied just once it would 100% go to one of my guild members assuming they dropped a mirror (see above) or for a ridiculously huge amount and the sale shared (as a guid of close friends we help each other out). I’d imagine most would go either the same way or pure greed. The whole point of mirrors is that if someone hits the million to one perfect item (which with poe1 was possible but rare as hell, in PoE2 without crafting it’s far far far less likely) that they can share that with people that are lucky enough to drop a 100,000 to 1 (estimate) mirror. This entire thread smells of someone being jealous of someone being able to make bank from winning a million to one (or worse in poe2) tier of luck. Some (in poe1) wouldn’t even charge for a mirror service (although most would). " Thats why the bar of mirrorworthy items would drop a little, and believe me mirrors might be rare for your guild but not for top RMT guilds, or even single players they trade in hundreds of mirrors. Also last guild I've been in dropped multiple mirrors over one league, some people even 2 so it depends. Do we really need 6 affixes t1 perfect roll items to destroy the game? No. |

" What? Because ppl break the "Terms of Service" (EULA) and RMT? That's literally a "non-argument". They don't balance the game around ppl breaking the rules and furthermore, if they get caught - they are gone. Who is trading in "hundreds of mirrors"? The RMT ppl again? Mirrors are not common like Divines, there is only a limited supply because mirrors are so extremely rare. If you look at "Settlers" you find atm 191 Mirrors. Using meaningless edge cases or even producing a strawman does not help your argument in the slightest. |

" You look at 8 months old league mate, just a friendly reminder. Not interacting with you more. |

" Dude... It doesn't matter how old the league is because the number shows how many mirrors were available around the end of the league - they are all offline. It's basically a snapshot. You know, the longer a league - the more mirrors are found and the longer a league - the fewer mirrors are bought because the few ppl who could/would use one - did; while the amount of ppl who do mirror stuff in the first place is never enough the drain the market after a few weeks. It is too rare and a too high investment for most. You want a recent number? Well, look at PoE2 - only 21 mirrors on trade, all offline besides one and 25 in the currency exchange. What do you think how many mirrors exist at any given time in a league because there is no such thing as "thousands of mirrors available". I quote you: "You could then even raise Mirror drop rate a little bit so it's a real chance you can drop it, right now Mirror item is pure imaginary item even for players playing 10 years." So don't contradict yourself. Last edited by JakkerONAIR#4902 on Feb 16, 2025, 1:50:36 PM

I think its fine the way it is now, u can always ask lower fees then the other guy when u offer ur mirror item for mirroring
making item marked as mirrored would skyrocket they price of fee to insane levels making people lucky enough to drop mirror not be able to use it anyway Last edited by Aragorn#0353 on Feb 16, 2025, 2:11:53 PM

" This is extremely short sited and incorrect. High end players don't "dupe items without a leash" the leash IS the mirror. They don't dupe it themselves, they take a mirror from a player an upcharge, then give the item to the player who had the mirror. They aren't just sitting on tones of mirrors making tones of copies, that would waste mirrors possibly. This would also make mirrors MUCH more expensive, and you'd never even see one on youtube anymore lol. |

" To say the bar for mirror worthy items would drop is a flawed one, it equates to saying that you’d be happy to take a Ford instead of a Ferrari for the same price. As for RMT guilds they are a plague and are being eliminated asap, sure they pop back up again but with what currency they had gone. As for the league where multiple mirrors dropped for your guild, I’d assume it was the wildwood one where people were manipulating the league mechanic to make ridiculous profits, it won’t happen again. No one needs 6 mods t1 perfect rolled items, not a single player….but they might want one and if they are extremely lucky and get a mirror drop the avenue is there to get one in PoE1. In PoE2, as it stands today, good luck getting even close to a perfect item! Finally, even in the wild loot fest of the wildwood league it wasn’t as if 100s of players were running around with full mirror gear like happened in harvest league. Mirrors are rare as hell, and I don’t care about your RMT arguement as that’s like saying a criminal has 1000 90” 8k flat screens.
