State of Early Access Update

let us keep mapping after death, worst mechanic in the game rn
The biggest issue imo isn't one of the problems mentioned under "biggest problems", it's the lack of options for crafting.
The "crafting" rn is finding a good base and slamming things on it and hoping for the best. The thing that made PoE stand out from other arpgs IS the crafting and its many options for it.
Crafting in PoE 2 is just...disappointing.

I really hoped you'd address this in this post, but alas.
The biggest issue for me atm is just how piss poor "crafting" is.
It's not really crafting, it is a pure gamble, you had the systems in place and didn't really need to change much.

We did attempt to address some of the more overpowered player skills, but backed off somewhat in order to prevent breaking peoples characters. We initially thought that there would be more tolerance for this kind of thing during Early Access, but we were incorrect! We will save changes like this for larger balance updates.

We are still nerfing things if they are totally egregious though.

When will the Trampletoe get nerfed then?! One dodge and everthing dies. Do we really need a build like this? Is it really fun to play or fun to watch?!No more endgame fun because of it.
You addressed trials ? Are you smoking :D?
That was a cosmetic change at best

If you've the currency to get temporalis, I doubt you're in the focus
They just wanted to break the budget chain reaction with CoC.

Map layouts have to be addressed, crafting is on a similar level to the old days of poe1, u just got pampered with all the later crafting mechanics

Omens are similar to eternals, even in terms of worth
I think another major issue is no waypoint stash
Map tab, Fragment tab!!
The last line is key for me, they want people to come back and play. The more playing the better the test and they know that long term they need larger player numbers (who wouldn't!!).

The two biggest gripes from people are not mentioned, if they bury their head in the sand regarding this they will never get the numbers back.

They need to get rid of the one death per map attempt and they also need to change the UI for mapping at the end. It is just too busy and scrolling all over to get where you need is not fun.

Once those get fixed, lots will come back.

This could have been written in 5 sentences.

The game has huge issues in fundamental design decisions. I'm looking forward to that. The Current atlas system is a let down compared to poe1.

In my humble opinion that is the biggest issue that needs your attention.
