I hate the trading mini-game/management, having to get out of your map to sell your item. I want to run maps, kill stuff, get loot and work with that, but to each their own. Some people seem to enjoy it. Personnally, I see no "social" activity in this either : Most of the time, people don't even say "Thanks". It's invite, join, trade, accept, leave group.

A lot of those who are really opposed to any form of in-game Auction House or system that would make it possible to "Buy" or Bid through the website system are those who actively exploit or benefit from the current system and loot scarcity. An AH or automatic buying system through the website would simply get rid of the actual tedium we have when it comes to trading.

However, GGG probably won't change a thing when it comes to their stance about trading, but they can come up with something better than the current YOLO orbs slam "crafting" we have, so that trading doesn't feel like a necessity for a lot of builds.

They don't want an auction house, they want RMT to thrive. Otherwise, why would every single report I send of the most obvious RMTer's in ARPG history fall on deaf ears?

First of all, thank you GGG for such a great game.

However, I am a casual player and cannot play for hundreds of hours. I hit roadblock for running maps and ascendency trials because of lack of good equipment. I wasted every map and stuck there without any progress at all.

I did try hard to trade using the trade site and I didnt have any reply from those who listed their items on website. 100% no reply....

If you fellow players only concern on those 1000X Divines items and you dont give a shit on those low level rares, why you list those Exalted-equivalent items on trade site?

A sincere hope that there will be a buyout AH so that I can keep on my progress.

I join standard league and hope to have a chance to upgrade via trading. Now I am playing Standard but in fact playing SSF....

Whilst some players (a few) feel casual players should not play PoE2, casual players still pay for micro transactions. I am having tons of fun right now, tried the antiquated trading system and gave up since no one responds. What a waste of time. Unless a proper auction house is developed I, and others, will hit a progress wall and will simply spend their rl money elswhere. There are many options!
