both CPU and GPU are designed to work under 100% load in extended periods of time, good example is GPU's that were used for mining, those were under 100% load for years and people bought them and used perfectly fine, i suggest you to go online and educate yourself properly instead of reading some nonsense thats out there and blantly believing it

Fun fact, it *was* possible for hardware to be damaged by software running on a computer, like before the year 2000. Viruses were designed specifically to do so. However limiters which prevent hardware from running out of spec even when the most malformed code is running have ensured that's not been a thing which is real and has occurred this millennium. With the notable exception of some Iranian Centrifuges around 2010, so as long as you're not running any of those you should be fine. Hard power cycling is not damaging whatsoever fwiw. It's actually a perfectly normal troubleshooting step and getting into advanced recovery mode in modern windows sometimes requires doing it 3x in a row, which is also perfectly fine.

This sounds like an awful idea... having 5k items drop at one location? Nah.

Besides, it should be tedious. Its already the most rewarding content in the game. If the downside is that its too time consuming to pick up all your fat loot, that such a first world problem.
