A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

anyone remembers how they said PoE 2 development wont have any effect on PoE 1 development? i remember

Very sad news. The communication has taken a turn for the worse since poe2 launched. I think GGG downplayed the freeze on poe1 development, the data breach, etc.

I think it would be easy to release an event or temp league to give poe1 players something to do, but releasing nothing pushes them to other games.

I am rapidly losing faith in GGG and interest in playing this game. Supported PoE1 since 2013 but I think it might be time to move on to another game.

How long until the original lie about PoE 2 just being a new campaign and gem system, which turned into the next lie about making separate games but keeping the teams separate and not impacting development of PoE 1 at all, which turned into another lie about them borrowing people but still working on PoE 1 in the background, which turned into a lie about 3.26 already being in progress, which has now turned into the current lie about maybe at some point after 0.2.0 they will work on PoE 1 again, becomes the final truth that they are just not supporting PoE 1 any longer? How much longer are these liars going to keep the false hope alive until they are honest with us?

I think I've purchased my last supporter pack. Thousands of dollars spent on this game and never had a single regret until the announcement of PoE 2. It's just been all downhill since then. Imagine ruining something so amazing just because of a few incompetent leaders.

I was excited to play the next poe2 update, but... I just don't have the excitement to play it now. Don't set expectations and renege on the day you were supposed to deliver.
