A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players
quite sad tbh, but i wont rage. i just hope you guys learn, as you always did, and deliver better next experiences to all of us. I was very afraid that poe 2 would mess with poe (i was expecting it), but i had hopes. Oh well... i wont babyrage and say "good bye poe"... i honestly think this isnt a reason to quit the game, but it is indeed a reason to be disappointed a lot.
Also, poe 2 is in EA so... the game doesnt need to be flawless. Just think about that. well... stay safe guys. See you all in the next league (for the ones that didnt quit, at least) on HC. I also apreciate the "Mea Culpa", but also remember: there is a limit to how many of them one can use. |

" EA is a poor excuse when it has 6 years of development. They need 6 more to make this game good. |

You guys are the best! Thanks for the info and keep it up! Take all the time you need to make the game even better. Honestly PoE2 is all I need right now.

This is really unfortunate. I feel like PoE2 has broken my love for PoE. Maybe it is time to move on.

At this point i don't trust the message GGG is putting out there anymore. So many promisses broken already. Sad to see the direction things are going under this teamlead.

That's truly out of season april fools joke

I'm genuinely curious how patient this community will be, of course there's now a huge rage, but it could be because of the heat of the moment,
But it's important to highlight that it's a risky move for GGG to be "absent" for 6 months GGG cannot be certain that PoE 1 players will migrate to PoE 2 so quickly just assuming that they have not or will not be able to fulfill their promises to PoE players seems insufficient to me for a company whose finances are based on sales of supporter packs Perhaps an act that really shows this repentance is necessary, even as a new request for trust for his supporters. Bringing in old leagues could keep the community busy, but at the same time, it would create the need for a team to monitor this, but even so, I think it would be simpler than in the future having to create a damage control team |

Disappointing

a sad day today! We, the remaining years-long PoE players don't want to lose the real game we are here for. Keep in mind how many bad decissions other companys, such as blizzard, did and ruined everything. We all sincerely warn you for doing the same mistake as others did. We, or at least me, just want to keep on grinding the game we are playing for over 10 years now! Nothing else.

I didn't think I'd ever say this but I'm going back to Blizzard. I get having issues with your new game and needing experienced staff but the offhanded, we'll find whomever to throw at POE1's development (instead of returning the experienced POE1 team to POE1), means that POE1 isn't going to deliver a good league for a long time.
It seems to me like you were more vested in a new game and vision than you were in the community that got you there in the first place. |
