I've supported this game for over a decade and spent probably north of $2k in microtransactions. I am genuinely flabbergasted at the absolute dumpster fire that PoE2 has been and has created. Promising that PoE 2 development would not affect PoE1, breaking that promise, then releasing a PoE 2 that is just objectively worse in almost every way and then continuing to spend PoE 1 resources on PoE 2 is a slap in the face. You can call this "transparency" but it's just bogus.

From a business perspective, this is insane. From a customer relations perspective, this is insane. I just cannot fathom how this decision was made and supported by leadership at GGG.

I'm so disappointed. POE2 is not my cup of tea, I can't get into it and play for hours like I can with Path of Exile...

I guess this will be good for my wallet though, I won't be supporting a game I don't enjoy.

if you actually thought that you shouldn't have taken devs off poe1 you would take them off it right now instead of keeping them. Disappointing.

This is a totally fair decision. Kalguur is arguably the best league in PoE so being content with that for a few more months while PoE2 gets sorted out is a logical decision. PoE2 is the future and it does have a lot of small issues that need fixed before the full launch. Thank you, Jonathan.

The people who financed all of poe2 get treatet like trash, and were lied to constantly. Calling this now transparency is a joke. You betrayed your Community for the Cashgrab poe2 which is just a bad game by design. I spent much money on poe1 but thats it! Just delete Poe2. Your promises are worth nothing it seems. Lie on and go broke
