I think the developers know these things as well but in the end they made a shitton of money in the meantime and as long as they lay off their extra resources quick enough they have no risk. It just means they lengthen the life of PoE.

Yup. It will backfire in the long run. Tons of POE1 players don't like POE2 at all. And we were told they would be separate games, so we begrudgingly accepted this.

But now we're being stabbed in the back.

I wouldnt mind poe 1 being abandoned if poe 2 was a complete game. It was in development for 10 years and they are working on act 4?????? Also looks like endgame was completely non existent like a year ago. And I wont even mention the terrible design decisions.


They are just making such illogical mistakes that a 10 year old wouldnt make. Right now I am so sick of this that I dont even want to login anywhere.

I've done everything there is to do and have top tier gear. I don't want to play until the next big balance & content patch. This is a pretty normal progression of player numbers

Clearly, you're not new, you know very well that games like this are not meant to be at 500k perpetually, it has peaks, it has lows and another patch comes. What's the peak average per patch for PoE1? - 150k-ish for the first week, dropping for 70k after the first month and staying under 30k till the next patch.

It's time for you to go out from a bit, chill and rethink your life's choices. Let GGG organize their shit and cook. PoE1 is not going anywhere.

I'm used to the toxicity in the "PoE1 fanbase", but y'all are having a collective mental breakdown and it shows.
