Numbers are absolutely plummeting

214k were playing on wednesday last week, now its 112k. thats 50% drop in one week!!! And I am not surprised at all.

- Absolute lack of communication from devs.
- Normal player can never outfarm the inflation thus he cannot ever acquire the most needed to get on par with other players. (temporalis). Temporalis should not be in the game. Were maps made so big just because thay wanted players to chase temporalis? IF you have temporalis you farm like 10 times faster.. Not even mageblood or headhunter had such impact. It completely makes other builds without that unique useless.
- People are realizing that poe 1 is just better and want 3.26. There are rumours we might never get new poe 1 league.

So in like two weeks 10k players will be playing poe 1 and 40k poe 2? thats crazy bad.

poe1 is years ahead of poe2...the two games dont even compare. its sad that the devs focus so much on the inferior game rather than the game that made them rich because it was that good. there was never a need for poe2 to begin with. just update poe with the graphics from poe2 and call it a day.
and before someone brings up steam numbers and how poe2 has so much more...poe2 numbers include Chinese players also. in poe1 chinese players have their own server so they were never included in the numbers

Yeah I noticed there were surprising amount of korean/chinese players. I have never noticed it in poe1. Was trading in poe 1 limited to certain regions?

Chinese players don't have their own client yet, so they play on the steam version/standalone version with us

in poe1 they have their own client

I think you mean their own servers and version of the game. It's literally separate from the rest of us and different in several key ways including P2W.

I just wanted to clarify since "different client" could be confused for the difference between the standalone client and the steam client.

The numbers of POE2 likely include China-based POE1 players that don't show up in POE1 Steam numbers.

yeah thats what i mean. the steam numbers were always deceptive because of this. the people who defend poe2 like to compare the steam charts so i just wanted to point out that the poe2 steam numbers include the chinese players also who were not included in poe1 steam numbers

Meh its more like people are done now. Most sweaty and halfway sweaty dudes cleared all, did all, build their character and stopped now. There is nothing to see after finishing the two viable builds in the game.

EA league was quite active for almost two months. poe1? lol.

Yea most are done with the conclusion poe2 was a big mistake...
