Does GGG not want Casuals to Ascend?

I refuse to pay 1 DIV to get carried! It's like the trials are designed to make the top players rich. I've only gotten 3 DIVs total with over 400-hrs of gameplay (several alts). I can't afford to buy stuff for 6-link or gem quality (which every content creator assumes everyone has!). Everyone with a +2 spell boost thinks that equipment/armor/boots, yea that'll be between 1-50 DIV. Ridiculous the game has already lost control of the economy.

While I enjoy the gameplay in-general, and have made it to tier 9 maps so far. The graphics are fantastic -- but those things only go so far when the game becomes more frustrating than it's worth, and the equipment/ascension gating so harsh.

I'm out until basic gearing is affordable and ascension trials are reasonable. That may be never.
