Youve been disproven on having no ability to do anything on your part, you had plenty you could have done. This is just something you need to learn to approach in POE, much less POE2.

The problem isn't that it is a 1 hit mechanic. The problem is it is a 0 hit kill mechanic. There is no damage done, you just die. I am a firm advocate that in ARPG's having a mechanic that can kill you with 0 damage done is not good, but it is even worse on a standard mob that can be found commonly in maps. Having a 0 damage ability that applies a freeze or a stun? Ok, cheesy but not the end of the world. Having a 0 damage ability that can kill you is just bad design.

Hard agree. I haven't died to it (yet!), but white mobs having a less tankable attack than arbiter fire bombs is wild.

I'm glad to see people here showing their support to this post. This is really bad for hardcore, the more I talk to people on discord and in game the more I would be shocked if ggg doesn't do something. I still haven't had a hardcore player agree with this mechanics design. And that means this will make people quit. The fact that it's debatable means it needs to be outed.

yeah terrible design honestly. How can you play for fun when the whole hardcore game mode feels like it is revolved around this dumb boring ability once you get to maps. I legit feel safer in xecht 4, then in a t1 waystone at this point. In hardcore, the scariest thing should be uberboss/hard rare affixes, not just a random white mob

Whats up with the harassment and the failure to understand my point of view and the failure to critical think.

Calling me a wallet gamer and saying my brain is shut off is cringe and doesnt make sense because wallet doesnt matter in POE 2 and brain being shut off would be kinda hard if I beat the pinnacle boss in hardcore. I doubt there is even 1000 players that did that. As I mentioned, I beat all the ubers and basically beat hardcore. You insult me but you obviously cannot read. And my only feedback is on the entire game/hardcore gamemode, the one thing I dont like is water hags and I have really strong points, and you didn't even combat a single one of my points you just came here insulting like a child on a tantrom.
