This game has problems with dictating who gets what loot and why in Multiplayer.

yeah this sucks. I can choose between "Free for all" or "short allocation" AKA "watch the item that dropped for you sit in on-death effects while someone else grabs it" or "permanent allocation" in which the game artificially decides who gets what without the players VOLUNTARILY putting their hands up for a loot roll Need/Greed style... which... every single other MMO ever does...

And that's the issue. I don't want this shitty 1999 vibe. I'm so sick of whatever dev has a fetish for archaic, out of date systems. WE DON'T WANT TO PLAY DIABLO 2. WE WANT TO PLAY *PATH OF EXILE 2*.

GIVE US NEED/GREED OPTION.

I guess they could give the option but then its really your own fault if you play in a Party, Breach drowns the entire screen in drops and you spend the next 6 hours standing there just slowly rolling who gets what. In WoW its easy because the game doesn't drop 100 items every 5 minutes.
I agree with this thread, I did 2 seasons of poe1 and it was easy to quit with never looking back. I don't mind some friction but just keep in mind you give me too much friction and I find something more fun. I wish the devs good luck in this pivotal moment.
