That's a very convenient narrative to deflect criticism with absolutely zero basis in reality, and no evidence anywhere to back it up.
It's usually peddled by people who are uncomfortable with criticism, and need to create their own little warped reality to keep feeling comfortable with a product, service, or institution.
I've made my own criticsms of this game, a post I've made today even. I acknowledge its not perfect by any stretch and still requires plenty of work even for an early access title.
I do not need to provide evidence because yes, it is just a belief I hold. By the time the first league or economy reset occurs, I am either wrong about this or the players will return to play PoE 2.
That's even better.
So you express your own criticism, which you think is valid and reasonable, but at the same time you deflect the criticism of other people by claiming it's just naturally more visible but doesn't mean anything.
We live in wild times.
I won't engage with your hyperbole anymore, save yourself the energy.

People get more emotionally charged when disappointed about something than content with it. Those people then become an unbalanced portion of visible chatter. Then every time, those people will claim to be the majority
Just repeating a claim with zero evidence doesn't make it any more true.
And what you think of me for rejecting or criticizing the shenanigans of capitalism is no concern of mine.

Hyperbole means exaggeration. I'm merely stating exactly what you are displaying here.

I loosely agree with the original point, the negative reinforcements are kinda a little on the heavier side in the late game
The end game is very barebones so I'm hopefull it'll get better
But i do echo the sentiment of
"Dying on a map just makes me want to close the game"
I get it death is a part of the game and it shouldn't be rewarded, but I don't know if frustration should be the intended effect of the end game.
All that said comments like:
"
This game is made for Streamers who by some miracle always have luck in RNG, and RMT with a thousand Chinese bots farming all the items and currencies in the game.
It's an ARPG disguised as a Soulslike that then disguises itself as a game. The endgame of PoE2 is simply horrible, I've never seen an ARPG Looter with so little loot, and all the loot is shit and with so much punishment and no reward like the endgame of this game.
Of course, that's not to mention everything in the game is anti-melee and anti-fun. Made for the player to waste time and more time doing useless things without any reward.
Walking through empty mazes to get to the other side of the map, taking the elevator and going through 3 doors that take a long time to open (Trials of Chaos) or spending 10 seconds to pull a lever on one of the maps.
Are entirely unhinged and make the feedback forum look like a joke
Who in their right mind is gonna take the feedback seriously with that?

I told you, review bombing. Circular arguing is the laziest attempt at gaslighting. Congrats, you can't even do a bad thing well.
Also, specific to the quote, and how I have zero evidence.
This is psychology's definition of...
The negativity bias is a cognitive bias that results in adverse events having a more significant impact on our psychological state than positive events. Negativity bias occurs even when adverse events and positive events are of the same magnitude, meaning we feel negative events more intensely.
Turns out there's a name for it and everything! *eye roll*
And yes, being in a negative psychological state makes you more defensive, entitled, self-absorbed, which are all the things that lead to outbursts of self-righteous anger over stupid shit.

And I told you what review bombing is, and where and why that term was coined.
And thank you.

Just read (and comprehend) a basic level human psychology book, please.

Which one, and what chapter or paragraph in particular.
"Just do your own research!" is a fool's reply.

This is the definition of "The Negativity Bias"
The negativity bias is a cognitive bias that results in adverse events having a more significant impact on our psychological state than positive events. Negativity bias occurs even when adverse events and positive events are of the same magnitude, meaning we feel negative events more intensely.
I'll give you that and if you want to understand why people in a negative psychological state act overly defensive, selfish, and unreasonably, check out related chapters. You have a starting point.

I'm aware of that, just like I'm aware of the Cambridge Analytica findings that people tend to engage more with negative content on social media, thus negative content being fed to them on a more regular basis to boost engagement.
But to take these findings as scientific evidence that people in a video game forum tend to express criticism more likely than praise, and even go so far to casually dismiss that evidence because of it?
That's beyond a stretch in my eyes.
