High risk, low return, very uncomfortable to play with

There is no positive feedback on the game, and several friends who played together are no longer online. I am also preparing to give up. Do you really think this design is cool?

Negative feedback being the norm is the standard. not just games.
The negatives are noticed and talked about more than the positives, because when the positives outshine the negatives well, they're not here talking about it. They're just playing the game. Its a shame its not the case for you or your friends.

Also you gotta remember that the negatives are amplified because of how good of everything else is, people are hurt by the inflation of the economy at the moment because they love mapping etc
Also its fine to give up/ leave the game for now, PoE isn't designed for most players to play for more than 2 weeks at most in my opinion. I've stopped playing for now and thats ok, return when they do a big content drop.
This game is made for Streamers who by some miracle always have luck in RNG, and RMT with a thousand Chinese bots farming all the items and currencies in the game.
It's an ARPG disguised as a Soulslike that then disguises itself as a game. The endgame of PoE2 is simply horrible, I've never seen an ARPG Looter with so little loot, and all the loot is shit and with so much punishment and no reward like the endgame of this game.

Of course, that's not to mention everything in the game is anti-melee and anti-fun. Made for the player to waste time and more time doing useless things without any reward.
Walking through empty mazes to get to the other side of the map, taking the elevator and going through 3 doors that take a long time to open (Trials of Chaos) or spending 10 seconds to pull a lever on one of the maps.

That's a very convenient narrative to deflect criticism with absolutely zero basis in reality, and no evidence anywhere to back it up.

It's usually peddled by people who are uncomfortable with criticism, and need to create their own little warped reality to keep feeling comfortable with a product, service, or institution.

Review "bombing" is a term coined by the industry, with the exact same intention.

Deflect criticism from people who are obviously unhappy about one or several aspects of a product.

You are a very well behaved consumer, +20 social credit to you.

I've made my own criticsms of this game, a post I've made today even. I acknowledge its not perfect by any stretch and still requires plenty of work even for an early access title.

I do not need to provide evidence because yes, it is just a belief I hold. By the time the first league or economy reset occurs, I am either wrong about this or the players will return to play PoE 2.

That's even better.

So you express your own criticism, which you think is valid and reasonable, but at the same time you deflect the criticism of other people by claiming it's just naturally more visible but doesn't mean anything.

We live in wild times.

Aspects of a product. This isn't human rights or anything. It's not that damn serious. You really shouldn't read all this conspiracy shit into everything. People get more emotionally charged when disappointed about something than content with it. Those people then become an unbalanced portion of visible chatter. Then every time, those people will claim to be the majority because they're the loudest and most annoyed, and ANYONE that dare challenge them is obviously just a meager puppet.

You too, have played your part well. See you on the other side of your echo chamber someday, perhaps.
