There is no way a league source code will be written in just a Xmas crunch. All they planned is trash talk of making a false hope to poe 1 loyal that they need to wait until January and meanwhile just enjoy poe 2 first. It just all their PR go downhill when Bex is gone. You can't just make some lie and false date to cheat players. All they just need to say no. there is no plan to release poe 1 new league until poe 2 is done. There is no way they don't have source code is being written (some league take 6 month to write so that they have overlapping development in the past for the leagues) and say some bull shit of they have plan and eta to release. The campaign is essentially the tutorial and not the full game. This isn't Diablo, where the main questline "is the game", no, that questline continues in maps. The Conquerors, Elderslayers, Guardians, Shaper, Maven etc. are all part of the main questline. In case you haven't noticed: Kirac introduces you to the map device so that you can essentially hunt down cosmic beings. All you've done up until that point is the setup for the main plot. So to speak, your questline "ends" once you've filled out the Atlas and defeated all major bosses tied into the Atlas questline. Nah playing without stash tabs is fine - you gonna lose some efficiency for sure but we all lose that hand over fist anyway in a manner of our choosing.
