Look i can have my moments of trolling but come on this subject is not even a debate ... Can you finish the campaign with one character using the starting stash tabs ? Maybe . Can you play endgame without premium stash tabs ? Not a chance . All the Micro-transactions points i got on this EA were immediately spent on Stash Tabs because it is a fact you do need a Premium Stash Tab for trading & others Premium Stash Tabs to manage the tsunami of currencies this game throw at you . Even with 30 bucks invested in Premium Stash Stabs and it's a challenge to store all the endgame stuff . Even that Premium Stash Tab dedicated for Skill Gem storage is way too small on his own , 500 units is quickly filled and i stopped counting the number of times i have to empty it .

PoE is not P2W , sure , but it is as Free 2 Play as these MMOs putting not-limited-by-stamina sprinting behind a paywall while asking you to do daily fedex quests on foot . Come on now .

if you're a compulsive collector of unique items, it does become complicated to fit everything into 5 pages of stash... it's still absolutely not necessary to collect so many items to finish the game (10 act + main quests up to maven).

this becomes necessary if you want to continue playing beyond Maven, using scarabs, stocking maps and items for future characters. Which seems fair to me, investing $1 per page for a game that's initially free...

Getting back to the basic subject, I agree with you even if I'm not thrilled with the idea. I don't see in what world GGG would be able to release a new league within a month...

personally i think this was a middle finger to the PoE 1 fans. But it is what it is. money speaks. Always have, always will.

Quit complaints about PO1: it's over, clearly. And for PO2: Forget about it and come back for the release, eventually. Then You will enjoy the content without being beta tester for months. Ridiculous.

There is no "finishing the game". People keep saying this because of that 1 guy that did a video once quite some time ago, with a hyper efficient setup, clearing Ubers. Conveniently leaving out how much general loot he had to ditch and how selective he had to be, just to "prove a point" - a point that was futile to begin with. That's not the metric you wanna use in this discussion. There are people who can speedrun games to get a refund from Steam. Does that suddenly mean you can finish the game in 2 hours?

POE2 brought some of the worst people into this community. You can see them in this thread.

I too dont think they have put much effort into the next league. We are watching GGG commit suicide right now.

Played 7500H+, i undestrand you forgot that there is a main quest line in this game. But it technically is : https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Quest#Epilogue

I do grind many hours on map to get my mageblood/HH each league and get 40/40 challenges, that's my thing.
But some dudes playing PoE simply not like to grind endgame but prefere to make multiple char and test out many different playstyle.
