Path of Exile 2: A Frustrating Disappointment

Yeah you dummies. Just grind the same mechanic all day every day so you can play the game. LOL

And another one comes: u are playing grinding game with a core mech of GRINDING.
You cry, because u have to grind meta strats in GRINDING game.

Just perfect logic ))))

You're on the forums, maybe read some of them and take the people at their word?

This game is heavily RNG based and unbalanced. Are your 2 guys meta builds? Are you getting consistent currency drops or valuable items? If either of those questions is a yes, then you're obviously not going to see the issues everyone else is having. Not running a meta build means you're dying way more often, even if your stats are great. Not getting currency or valuable items means upgrading stats is painfully slow, so progress stalls. I shouldn't grind 30+ maps with only a meager pittance of currency to show for it.

The game isn't for everyone, because only some people are feeling rewarded for playing it. The rest of us are feeling fucked over, and when we come to the forums to voice our concerns, we're just told to "git guud" or "im not having any problem, must be skill issue"

You must not be grinding effectively. When my wife and I grind juicy breaches we are dropping 10 to 15 div in 1 to 1.5 hrs. And when I'm solo I grind ritual. Yesturday I made 50 div in 4 hrs of ritual. Games to easy honestly. Ppl just playing it wrong.

That's not the case for the majority playing the game right now.

How much did you spend for your Build? a few hundred Divine?

Most people like you use RMT to buy the Divines to make your builds like the streamers and sharks do, it's so common and than you people come on the forums and state their is nothing wrong, game is great, blah, blah, blah..

Yeah, I bet it's fun when you have a big enough bank account to fund your in game adventures and gear requirements like Elon XD..

What ? People are playing the game better than you, without issues, so they have to be cheating ??? Bruh, are you sure about that ? Are you, like, the best player in the universe to make such statement ?

I'm not grinding anything. As soon as I figured out the only way you can play this game past act 2 is holding down 1 button while drooling on yourself I uninstalled. Maybe this game will be good in 12 months but right now its

The game is a disappointment to me too. I strongly suspect that a lot of people that are in endgame now actually cheated or profiteered off of cheaters/dupers. Those who just want to play the game, have to face a difficulty curve based on exploitive builds and underhanded trading rather than on hard work and skill. This "Meta" gameplay is boring as hell. There are builds that either have a 1 button set up or those builds that do not require you to hit any buttons at all. I do not see how this would be fun for anyone. This is not skill, it is bad design. The developers either are sleeping at the wheel, or they are making the game to cater to those that want cookie cutter uber builds requiring no skill. It is sad that ARPGs are turning into this. There is no reward in this game for pursuing a non-exploitive build. Never mind Solo self found, it is a grueling, slogging, unrewarding horrible experience. I feel sorry to those who think they are some sort of leet gamer. Feeling good about using some of these builds when in fact they are just copying someone else. Cookie cutter role playing game.

Pretty much this. The campaign was a blast and I felt like it took skill having to dodge roll effectively while combining different attacks. T15 endgame forced me to use a boring 1 click build to avoid 1 shots, which still happened with bosses or walking through a narrow passage as a mob stacks spells that were unavoidable.

The frustration and boredom of late end game just started outweighing the addictive gameplay. Kind of reminds me of when I quit smoking, eventually the morning flem and price were just too much to justify the dopamine hits
I just fought the Arbiter of Ash, and honestly, this fight is a joke!! Not only did I lose 50% of my EXP after five deaths, but the mechanics are completely over the top.

The corridor, in particular, is the last straw. I gave it my best shot, but at this point, they’re straight-up mocking us with this kind of design!

That’s it, I’m done. I’m moving on. Thanks, GGG, but this game is definitely not for me.

It's just frustration after frustration, there’s no fun left. If things change, I might come back, but as it stands, no thanks.
