233 hours in, bored and frustrated, I'm done until they change some things
Was fun for a while, now it's just a boring frustrating grind that seems pointless. Grinding juiced T15s just for the hopes of finding divs to buy gear that is pointless to try and craft. I don't even want to play boss fights unless they're several tiers lower because 1 mistimed roll = 1 shot, which I wouldn't mind at all if I didn't lose xp and the map. Tried my first citadel and breezed through it, got the boss in phase 2 with about half life left then I barely miss-timed a dodge roll into a 1 shot. Lose xp and can't even replay the map.
GGG, you need pick one. Either get rid of 1 shot mechanics from bosses entirely or get rid of xp loss. Citadels should also not be 1 and done considering their importance and the fact you must fight a boss. It's sad too because boss fights in the campaign are something I look forward to and they managed to completely turn that around in endgame. It's already kind of directionless without any sort of side quests in endgame, but the fact that you make is so punishing just for the sake of being punishing is not fun. I'm starting to think it's all about ego and GGG has completely embraced the "git gud" mentality that's only going to chase away the demographic you claim to want to bring in. If you dont like divs per hour gameplay then try solo self found.
If you cant kill citadel boss then reduce boss difficulty, you still get the fragment(s). "Side quests" in maps are "league mechanics" aka gaining more points for ritual, breach, delirium, bosses and the general atlas tree. i just died at 95 and lets be real, 2,5% is only 3 maps (t15+1+xp)

"what's the point of suggesting ssf? It's not like the drops get good or anything. The problem with divs per hour is that the likelihood of getting a nice drop for you build is abysmal and without any deterministic crafting you are forced to trade. Playing ssf doesn't solve this foundamental issue. Somehow they managed to make an arpg where loot is worthless, which is baffling |

" If you see a game as a job and you are not a streamer/content creator, then quitting might be the best choice. If you are referring to grinding for currency/items, grinding is literally one of the core endgame loops of the game. |

But these only help when you are dying not so often. On the other hand. If someone is dying really often, they are not loosing 10% exp as well, because they dont even get this much between the death. |
