Yeah delirium is pretty bad not onyl fro eyes also fro performance and visibility.

Not to be that pedantic guy but, visibility is eyes and performance is a you issue (your hardware) not a them (GGG) issue sorry.

Visibility is not an eye issue. I had it multiple times that the fog is literally hiding enemies. You are not able to see them. Then there are issues with skills being hidden by the fog.

And Performance is an issue with the fog. The fog reduces FPS by a noticable amount. That is bad performance.

The Games Performance is bad. It needs a lot of fixing there. Its early access which does not make it an issue for me. But GGG is responsible for the performance of the engine.

So to clarify, as it would appear but not be certain you haven’t read all the thread, that I have said early on (specifically approx 70% down page 2) that the ground effects are currently under the fog and for playability they should be above the fog which would solve your counterpoint. Beyond that visibility is an eye issue :)

If the game performs badly that is a you issue. I have a (estimated without googling) 5 year old day one XBox Series X which plays the game perfectly because I have it configured correctly (you should see how many posts I have read complain about console performance and don’t have FSR turned on or have upscaling turned on) and if you have bad performance on a PC then you need upgrades. I know this is a harsh standpoint but imo a correct one, and no offence is implied.

i just hate it. Not to the point it would actualy make me sick but this fog must be the worst way to implement a mechanism i have ever seen in any game.

I totally agree.
The fog mode is completely torturing the player. Content that hurts the player's eyes.

I have a 5900x and a 7800XT
In a party i can literally go down to 30 fps. Mainly because of Minions.

If i play Savannah i lose 1/3 of my FPS just for being in savannah.

Fog reduces FPS by a noticable amount.

Now another thing i dont have any setting i can change that increases my FPS in the Hideout. Only tested it there. No matter what i do my FPS stays teh absolute same. Its around 85. FSR does not change fps. Shadow Resolution does not change FPS.

Changing FSR from No Upscale to Ultra Performance does not do anything.

The game is badly optimised thats just how it is. Its a widely known fact about POE 2. That is fine. Doing optimisation during development isnt what you do. You do it as a last step.

85 FPS while nothing is happening in the Hideout is not good, That is low FPS. My Hideout is a Dreadnought Hideout.
I go to my guild Hideout which is a canal and the FPS while nothing is happening jumps to 123. Which in tern means that the dreadnought Hideout is badly optimised.

If I have correctly read your specs, you have an Nvidia gfx card and so should never use FSR (I referenced it in relation to consoles because both Xbox and PlayStation for poe2 are AMD system where FSR is the correct setting), for you the correct setting should be DLSS?

Please add settings to REMOVE this ugly fog! It's impossible to play - it's dropping fps from 50-60 to 15-30 or less! It's hardly to see anything in this fog. It's absolutely WORST part of game.
Just add option to lower such effect or game is unplayable on many PCs. It has too mush cpu requirements.

This effects makes insane CPU load. They are not optimized and gpu has no effect. Problem in cpu load not gpu. Good solution is add option to lower or remove this fog and other such effects.

7800XT is an AMD Card.

FSR is a software implementation so it does not matter if you have NVIDIA or AMD or Intel.
