GGG support response time issues...
Hi everyone,
I’m incredibly frustrated with the response time and support I’ve received from GGG. I sent an email to their support team on January 2nd regarding an issue with my account. They responded the same day asking for additional information, which I promptly provided. However, I haven’t heard back from them since then—over two weeks now! Here’s my situation: I can’t verify my email because I no longer have access to the email address associated with my Path of Exile account. I can’t change the email on the account because I log in using Steam and don’t remember the original account password (it’s been years since I created it). This has left me stuck and unable to use all the features of the game. All I’m asking for is either: 1. To unlink my Steam account so I can link it to a new PoE account, or 2. To change the email associated with my account to one I actually have access to. I understand that GGG’s support team might be busy, but two weeks without a follow-up is ridiculous. I just want to enjoy the game without feeling blocked by these account issues. Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay with their support requests? Any advice on how to get this resolved faster? Thanks for reading—I’d appreciate any suggestions or insight. Also I had to make a new PoE account to ppst this since the one im having issues with cant post on the forums. I have emailed support multiple times now. I have been pretty patient knowing the holidays and i put into consideration that GGG is probably swamped but i figured I would have heard something by 15 days.

Don't email them until you get a response. For whatever reason they are still using late 90s tech to operate the support system and further emails will only push you back to the end of the line.

Thanks ill keep that in mind, I waited 5 days after my initial response. Ill continue to wait i like this game to much, just wish i could use the trade stuff lol.

I’m honestly at a total loss here. I opened a ticket on this account on 1/15/25, separate from the original account I used to send my initial support email way back on 1/2/25. Are there just thousands and thousands of people flooding support all at once? I can’t wrap my head around how I could get a same-day reply before on my first email sent, and now I’m stuck in silence for nearly 20 days. It’s driving me nuts. I hate complaining but would be super helpful if i could use the content in the game that requires me to validate my email.

Today I paid 41$ for 2 supporter packs but packs did not charge to my account, I could not take my coins.

" Did you buy it on the Steam storefront instead of inside the game's microtransaction store? I have the exact same problem. Bought the 2 other packs on the Steam storefront (after already having Early Access to the game) and altough the money was paid, nothing was credited to my account. We are not the only cases, there are others complaining about this on the Steam forums and reviews. Seems like there is a problem with their system. I suspect this has something to do with buying the packs on Steam instead of upgrading to those packs. Their system is probably not recognizing this type of transaction. |
