This is a rushed patch from after a long holiday break, it doesn't address any major issues or bring any new content. A decent patch to be sure, but lets not lie to ourselves and everyone else here.

The interview and this patch are both just to recover from the loss of players while they were on break. Both rushed, only answering minor questions with real answers and a patch that only addresses quick fixes that mostly people don't care too much about. The big issues will take time and per the interview they either didn't have the answer or instead of saying "we don't know" they doubled down on "sticking with problem X" and not saying why.

Hopefully the next major version patch actually addresses some of the bigger community issues. Maybe in another month?

I will say they fixed a spark bug that I think only the higher tier spark build had(not casting near an edge due to high proj count+speed) while actually nerfing some warrior aftershock stuff. Kind of hilarious. And I play spark atm to have any hope of doing pinnacle content in my lifetime.
