Good to see some that some things are getting fixed, as well as more QoL additions but at the same time, still a bit sad that some things that I found problematic during first play-through didn't get any attention (unless I missed it while reading through patch notes?)

- Disciple of Chayula ascendancy node "Consuming questions" was not working at all last I played. I ended up giving up and re-rolling because apparently you can't change your ascendancy class yet. very annoying.

- Minion movement AI is very frustrating; Minions just stop moving for no reason, or stand still near doors and block movement so you can't go through. Because they respawn automatically and we don't have a "convocation" option, you have to walk out of range and wait until timer is done to "move" our minions back to us. I see there is a minion respawn rework in the patch notes, will see if that changes anything.

- Hope the change in map size and rare enemies will make endgame experience better; I would have suggested displaying rare enemies on the mini map, but I see checkpoints were added as well. Some maps were so large with many narrow pathways, corridors, obstacles. Nightmare to move through as a summoner; but let's see...


Have a lot of mixed feelings about other things too, but I played Poe1 a lot so this is just new habit / getting used to the new content, and personal feeling:

- Not being able to get max life increase from passive skill tree. You can get pretty high life leech values from gear, but have to rely either on ES or MOM to increase life pool. I found it difficult to get past 2.5k hp but saw clips of people having around 5k. Maybe I am just bad...

- Armor being "breakable" kind of feels bad and making ascendancy specialization a bit pointless

- Skills being tied to weapons; atm it feels more restrictive than PoE1, but I understand there are more classes coming.

- No minion ascendancy passives. This is kind of funny but at the same time makes no sense to me. Deliberate choice to allow players to experiment and play minions with any ascendancy class, BUT at the same time skills are tied to weapons so you're not really offering more freedom in terms of gameplay. I started with a witch, then tried warrior and got stuck. I moved my minion setup to the warrior and it was doing a lot better than the witch... so I've been playing that for a while... Makes no sense that minions would work better on a titan than on a blood witch.

- Where is the spectre skill advertised before the dec 6 release >.>
(The minions available so far are pretty good though, so we cool.)

- Ascendancy progression needs a total rework.
When I realized that Sanctum and Ultimatum had been implemented as core mechanic for ascendancy progression I almost raged. Actually, i think the "core" design for Sanctum is fun, but the honor system ruins all of it for me -Just horrible if you're playing a melee class-. Ultimatum, I personally just really don't like it; wish it was optional or just removed altogether. You want to create a different user experience from PoE1 but use the same core mechanics for the new game...why?

- Crafting is disappointing atm. It's really more gambling than anything else tbh.
No alteration orbs so you have to farm for good bases; through the campaign to endgame, getting decent items has been pretty annoying but i guess this is also rng. More regal and exalts is good, I think to compensate for the lack of alterations you should boost the drop rate of chaos orbs to allow more crafting freedom.

I think PoE2 has a good blueprint for future development, but I can't say it's been very enjoyable so far. It's been overall tedious and frustrating (for me). I think the campaign is fantastic, but some issues are kind in a place where the player isn't sure if you want to make a PoE1 v2.0 or a completely different game. Endgame feels a lot like Poe1, some class ascendancy skills not working properly or being very underwhelming.

All things considered, good content for EA, and a lot of things addressed with this patch. Looking forward to release and other upcoming classes.

Awesome, so to update changed uniques, they need to be hit with a Divine orb, of which I've only ever seen 3 Divines drop?!?

The patch isn't out yet, so unless you have two identical quivers to test with - one with and one without the "increased damage with bow skills" mod - whatever change you're seeing isn't due to the patch.
