Please fix Vaal Orbs and tier 16 map odds

In the past several days I've Vaal'd over 100 tier 15 rare maps. Of all of these, I received a total of two tier 16 maps.

Two. That's pathetic.

To make things worse, the odds of downgrading your map to tier 14 seem much, much higher than the odds of getting a tier 16 map. Why is this?

This needs to be looked at IMO. Past level 90 tier 15 maps become insanely boring. Tier 16 maps should not be this hard to get.

Signed.

My rate isn't nearly as bad as yours though.

It seems to be:

1/8 T15 will become a T16.

2/8 T15 will become a T14 (brick)

5/8 T15 will remain a T15 with a chance to lose % waystone bonus.

Either way my game modes switch between map farming with Atlas allocated to WS drops.

Followed by a vaaling session where I fill the guild stash with bricked T14s and end up with a handful of T16s for the next night - where I will once again respec the atlas to precursor tablet bonuses....

There doesn't appear to be a less gridny way to deal with late game mapping right now.

I'm also burning through Vaal orbs at a sickening rate.....

I agree the rate of getting a T 16 should be better.

Honestly I'm not sure why we can't just combine 3 t15's to make a 16. It's not like 16's are super special.
I’m just here to agree, fix these odds please, I’m close to walking away from the game. Everything is risk and no reward.
Best solution imo will be the ability to combine 3x map up to tier 20 (base lvl 84) but max droppable tier will remain at 15.
I know you can't reforge corrupted maps but if the chances of getting a T16 are that low why not let us reforge our failures at least to get to T16??
Dang, 1 in 8 getting you a T16? Your odds are fantastic. I think I'm closer to 1 in 20.

Also, nobody mentioned double corruption. It shouldn't be able to drop the level of the map. It's much too frequent and destroys a good node too often.
I have not been able to get a t16 yet and I am well over 100 corrupted maps. This type of RNG feels very bad. It wont make me quit but I hope this changes before full release. There are plenty of grinds to keep people playing. We don't need to extend the entire gameplay experience with RNG checks.
My experience is about 1 in 10
