unlike people who play this game for years and have no goddamn decency to ONCE support its creators? But are very hasty to tell others to "uninstall it" (ofc when they find some spare time in between "being busy actually playing the game").

Talking about "stupid takes" lol.

Damn, since you refuse to give it up, I'll take over your portion of supporting them, since you're so concerned that people value your contribution over others. I can cover it.

Goodbye Emily.

Nice strawman. You actually don't get that its about people making ZERO effort to support GGG over YEARS telling others that GGG doesn't need them and they can "uninstall the game" or are you that desperate to "prove" those people are actually right.

No, I think you actually know damn well it's not about "covering" anyone

you didn't make the specific change i want, you didn't add the content i want, and you didn't fix the thing i want fixed

i demand that you do these 37 things i want right now immediately today, or else i'll repeatedly threaten to uninstall but never actually do it

you may claim that you can't deploy patches before they are written, but you're not a small indie dev shop any more. causality is an unacceptable excuse for not delivering content that's still in progress and fixing bugs that you're still trying to diagnose. Einstein's theory of special relativity doesn't respect the player's time.

0/10 worst game ever, i've only played 700 hours since launch, zero replay value

I appreciate the laughs :D

It blows my mind that people think "update a single line of code to point to an audio file" for the act 1 musician is the same level of effort as "change the procedural generation algorithm for atlas generation" as well XD

Sounds cool, too bad my computer crashes as soon as I launch the game.

If you're on Windows 11 24H2, that's the issue. It's a known problem with new CPU scheduler. Revert back on 23H2.

I'll write down this tip. I don't have any computer crashes, but since it's affecting so many people, they really should have mentioned this problem.
Even it was just "We're working on it".
The Server performances, which seem to affect a vast part of the playerbase (me as well), were mentioned in a half sentence at the end of the interview. I think they said the problems were caused by certain skill imbalances/overpowered builds. They could have said a few sentences more about that.

This was something I was sad about - cutting off that interview before some important questions were even addressed. I think that "we only have 2 minutes left" was a bit ridiculous, why not add some more minutes to at least mention some more of the major issues just to make people feel heard. Fixes taking time isn't a big problem actually, but leaving players under the impression their problems are not being seen AT ALL is a problem.

I'm totally fine with changes/fixes taking a long time. I have a life and I'm playing PoE for fun, and yes, I do have fun and believe PoE2 will get better.
But as much as I appreciate the open communication, it irritates me that certain things are very rarely or even never spoken about and I understand that many people are frustrated because they don't feel heard at all, and don't know if the developers even know about the issue, and what the plans are.

So, what about guilds. Will we get access to our PoE1 guilds (and the guild mtx, like stashes) in PoE2 or not? What are they planning? Because this topic was never mentioned. I really hope it's not the strategy of "let's not talk about it until no one asks for it anymore".

Maybe I'm alone in thinking this, but I really, really don't believe we need to spin up leagues in early access for changes that affect the game's economy or meta. It's early access. We all knew (or should have known) what we were getting into, and, honestly, we *expect* more frequent adjustments. If the devs are feeling like their hands are tied on any real changes to the game because they have to wait to spin up a new league... well... don't?

Thats what i dont understand either. Everyone is circlejerking that this game is still early access when you bring up critique but then they treat it like a running league and needed changes get postponed because of the economy. Cant have both.
more teleports? death penalty? no way ofc ... just still listen to nolifes youtubers..
