Poe2: I notice that 90% of famous streamers use only 4 Builds out of 50 options they have
I notice that 90% of famous streamers use only 4 Builds out of 50 options they have, which causes players who are guided by watching them to lose interest in trying those remaining options and when they get bored of using them they stop playing the game. This is serious, they should look for a way to teach that with other skills or builds it is possible to have a similar damage and if that damage cannot be had, they should increase the damage if they do not want Poe 2 to have fewer players every month that passes.

I wouldn't worry about it. The game is in early access and balance will change dramatically.
One of the things that keeps POE fresh for streaming is the buff/nerf/new skill introduction cycle. I doubt very much GGG will stray away from that successful model. Regardless of what happens, streamers pushing the hardest content (usually what people are interested in), or doing hardcore, will gravitate to the strongest builds possible out of necessity. It's just not a good look to be visibly struggling at all times with a mediocre build, unless its a game where dying on stream is actually funny and obvious (IE: dark souls/elden ring). |

What 50 options are you talking about? You either onetap rares and clear the screen, or you die. That makes most of the options unviable.

" To give an opinion, you have to put everything in the bag. The same thing happened in Poe 1 and the interest in playing it lasted for most players only 1 month out of the 3 months that the League lasts. If the skills didn't have such a big difference in damage, I think players would be more interested in trying out all the content. |

" Exaggerating for effect is one thing, but taking it this far into doom and gloom seems excessive. Even if we ignore everything else, we can at the very least add "slow all mobs to a crawl, freeze the rares, and kill them at your leisure" to the list of perfectly viable ways of playing the game that are alternatives to one-shot-the-screen or die. " The point is not the difficulty... it seems that you did not understand, it is what the player sees in the live streams that other players do, what he sees that he wants to have: (Damage) if he does not have it, it is very negative and generates rejection, that is the point. |

Because, of the dozens of potential builds, only 4 actually work.
It's a game issue, not a streamer issue |
|
in short, because nobody is tuning into a stream to watch them do a boss fight for 10 mins.

I've seen a fair variety, though I don't watch enough streamers to try and give a stat like 90%. If it's just 4, it would only take a second and 4 words to name them. What are the 4 you think they all use? I just want to know so I don't think you are being over general.
