Waystone situation is ridiculous

Have entire stash tabs full of T15 maps. I recommend participating in the game systems they've implemented, that way you get the best results.

This includes how you spec your atlas, using currency on your waystones and not dying so often that you run out of waystones.

it should not be mandatory to be in a specific atlas build just to get waystones of the tier you are in. heck early endgame, when you dont even HAVE enough points this problem is just worse.

Ah yes if I take the 4,782,969 T1 maps that I get on a T15 I can make another T15 map. I know math is hard but at least try and conceptualize things before you post.
I think it's quite interesting that players are making the exact same mistake of overinvesting into waystone drop chance/waystone quantity similar to what players did in PoE1 with no success.

It's like stacking 2k% crit multi with 0.1% crit chance.

Tablets, what are those? I’ve gotten like 4, on T15 maps now at level 85.
Sustaining T15s looks good but I have hell of a difficulty sustaining T12s in T12 maps

Everything dropping is either T14/15 or <T8

How do I sustain the tier I'm on? Feels like trying to push a hernia in only for it to pop out somewhere else

I don't have the gear to run T14s easily and trying to farm T11/12 to get enough defence to jump up to T14/15.

If I run an alched T12 on a reasonable map within range of a few towers, I get T14s.

If I run a non alched T12, or one away from towers, I get <T8 if I get anything

Can't seem to find the right combination. I tried removing tier chance off the atlas but then was getting T10s in alched maps with no visible change to non-alched ones

People dismissing/flaming a large portion of players feedback because you haven't experienced the same shortcoming isn't good for a game.


I think that there is a hump around T12-T15 that some people are getting stuck at. I made it all the way to clearing 4 T15 maps then had four one shots knock me all the way down to T12's.

If they just added the below items, I think it would improve.


Remove the 1 death penalty of losing your map.
Reduce the large damage spikes that cause one shots.
Reduce the chance of lower tier waystones from dropping in higher tier maps or buff those options on the atlas tree.


I think its a valid argument that waystone drop chances are fine, but if T15 waystones are selling for 15 ex that is a significant indicator that there is a problem. But there is only one endgame currently and it takes waystones to experience it. If you don't allow all players to engage with the only endgame content there is, they are going to get frustrated and leave.

Yes I combine waystones
Yes I juiced my maps
Yes I specced into more waystones, pack size and higherwaystone tiers
Yes I run Boss maps
Yes I use Tablets

Someone reccomended 2 more mods on Rares. I did this for my 15/14's and I got mods that made them unkillable for my Monk and this caused me to get knocked all the way back down to T12's
