Poe1 hit peak numbers on the current league, so you're wrong there.
Poe2 broke that record and doubled it, JUST on steam, not counting all the consoles, the stand alone client and even the epic store. Poe2 got millions of players and you had to pay for it, and it's in EA.
1. I never said it didn't reach higher peak numbers. I said it was SLOW, from d4 players seeing the poe shill porpaganda. AND that it's not the numbers it SHOULD be hitting. good games hit 700k daily, easily. If ggg didn't f up in 2021 then we could easily be hitting 1 mill on steam. and steam on a normal league is 70%+ of the player base as admitted by ggg multiple times and those numbers only go up as the fanbois use it instead to help ggg look good.
2. And OBVIOUSLY POE 2 beat poe 1 numbers on A NEW GAME LAUNCH that, like I said was shilled and hyped like the second coming of jesus and #ad and #sponsor tf out of by every streamer getting tencent money to play the game and hand out free codes to boost numbers. If it were to be successful it would have done 1-1.5 mill on steam like even, I, a ggg hater thought it would.
Like I said earlier, 70%+ is a normal league for players to use steam. HOWEVER on POE 2 most of the players were CODE GIVEAWAY users redeeming on steam and having to play on steam so the number had to be 95%+ and no idc about console because we already don't count them for poe 1. THAT and games like palworld that had no marketing and black myth wukong also released on console and more other clients and i'm not using those in the 1 million + players that they got on steam.
ffs the trash new marvel game is getting better concurent than poe 2 . and i explain in my other post how these current players are mostly bots from the awful code give aways.
