I truly hope they change their mind on a new PoE1 season
" POE2 is still convoluted for new players even when they dumbed down a bunch of systems new players still seem to be generally lost. We lost a lot of the things that made POE1 interesting and got nothing in return if this is the base system that they choose to keep all the way through EA. How is the current system with skill gem's item locked and predetermined class build routes any different from Diablo 4. Honestly it seem a lot of people just (POE 2 fanboys) just want a Diablo 4 complexity but claim POE2 is deep because its "Difficult"(not really, its just tedious). What of the "Bones" of POE 2 that you see as an improvement, besides not having links on gear and graphics I'm having a hard time seeing what's great? |

" Not every season, I only heard complaining about kalandra and necro - because kalandra stealth nerfed drops of everything by a massive amount and necro was literally worse for most players than playing standard. Most other leagues are just extra currency with a few buffs and nerfs. |

Troll post, you like PoE 2 so kill PoE 1 for people who were promised it will be supported.
I have 0 negative posts about PoE 2, but what I'd want, is Poe 1 getting full retexture, enemy and player models on par with mtxs and regular new content. It's a great arpg and no reason for it to die. It would also be stupid, if few people managed to create leagues during PoE 2 crunch, then not doing it, given the number of players playing and suporting, is a pure loss. It's just a matter of time when they make their biggest announcement after the tencent deal, announcing that PoE no longer gets new leagues and there will only be standard version of the game.
Considering the updates, changes and leagues poe2 will be getting, there's no way PoE will get the love it used to. I know I'll switch to poe2 when it gets released. Don't see any reason to play it yet. |

" I don't see how that's my concern. If you're not planning to play poe1 anymore, you have zero reason to care about poe1's further development. Poe1 is a massive game full of stuff already. It doesn't need more stuff. Poe2 needs to be finished. If poe1 is so great, people should just enjoy it and the massive amount of stuff it already contains. New content should be going to poe2. |

I don't know if this is bait but this thread makes me want to table flip just from the OP, PoE1 has already been treated like irrelevant development project and you want to give it less?
Please no, give us the 6 devs that made the last few leagues back if that's as much as can be spared - they are heros and have provided major entertainment while everyone on the other side of the office is spending the mula every day. I've really enjoyed PoE2 glaring design issues aside its got the core of a brilliant game but I cannot wait for the next PoE1 league its already been too long. |

" See for me it should be exactly the other way around. Since poe2 is soo unbelievable boring it should just go to hell and poe1 should again get all the ressources.
