So I just got a "copypasta" response after 2 weeks of waiting. What surprised me was that the support response said that my account would be locked, but that's not true and my account wasn't locked. Maybe it's because I changed my password the same day all my items and currency were stolen.

Btw alot people got hacked by same person, ive found my items aswell on this player. How chances we all got hacked from different country by same person? All this things against GGG. I think they just never answer about this situation and when fix it just will be silent and unlocking us. Because every single big company dont wanna say we got hacked, etc...

That's exactly how I perceive the situation, and it's really sad. I will report back what they say to me and share it with all of you. My request contains very detailed information about the hacker, screenshots as evidence, and also a report from Steam stating that my account is secure and no one has logged in from an unauthorized source through Steam, just like the 2FA was not triggered. This suggests that the issue lies with GGG and not with some account password. If someone tries to log in from a different IP/location, I have to approve it on my phone, or it won't work. Still, they were able to empty my account. Steam, just to be sure, has rechecked everything and updated my password and 2FA. If I now get a response from support telling me to change my password and lock my account, I will know that they haven't read the content of my ticket and are just sending a copy-paste reply. If that's the case, I will be very disappointed and will no longer support them. I've been playing POE since its early days, have spent thousands of hours in it, and was always very positive about GGG. But this would be the absolute last straw
Unfortunately I think you are right I've been saying all along its not a password account issue or 3rd party apps/site issue because none of that applies to me or others on here. Only common is poe2+trading+whispers from their own website.
But with so many clueless people automatically victim blaming and defending GGG I can already see GGG not fixing this or maybe blaming 3rd party apps.
Basically because they haven't said anything at all yet, they have no intentions of fixing this issue. So now I disabled all my public tabs.

This thread has grown considerably, with many users reporting account compromises and subsequent account locks. Has anyone here who reported their account being hacked had their account successfully unlocked yet?
JC_GGG mentioned in another thread (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3687118) that some accounts have been unlocked during these incidents. It would be reassuring to hear confirmation of that from anyone here.
Additionally, the queue process itself seems inconsistent based on information I shared in this other thread (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3689021). If you’ve got any idea how this might actually work, I’d love to hear it—I’m struggling to make sense of the whole process.

The unlock process was around 4 mails from support done within 3 hours.
