poe2 endgame is really boring compared to poe...i leveled to 92 but it seems pointless to keep going. i will never find a citadel and waypoints are just not fun. too many bad layouts. in fact almost all of them have awful layouts. and you cant even skip them. you need to do them to get to the ones with better layout.

endgame needs a LOT of work before full release.

You're being disingenuous. If you want to compare end game then compare PoE 1 beta or first release to PoE 2. Go see how boring PoE 1 endgame WAS before it had 10 years of content.

Bad Argument.

Now while we should not expect POE2 to have the same content as a 15 year old game.

We also should not be comparing a sequel of a game (meaning the devs have more experience, and a foundation already set for the 2nd game, which means they were not exactly starting over from scratch.

We should always expect a sequel to be improved, at the very least in the technical department.

This whole comparing a newly released game to a 15 year old argument always confused me. Of course every new game is going have some rough patches and what not, but also the devs should have a lot more knowledge going into it as well. So claiming that Previous Game was out for X+ years so its okay for the sequel to take 100 steps back, is not a valid argument.

(that being said, I do not find POE2 boring at all. and while yes its rough in some areas, I do think people are over exaggerating some of the issues with some melodrama.)

Game needs some kind of pvp to do in-between farming...even if just dueling and arena.

You are missing the point. Its not about any technical stuff or design choices, its about quantity of content. New game and incomplete one at that cant compete in any way, shape or form with old one that had constant content patches every few months. Expecting even 1/10th is pure stupidity.
