Exp loss on death topics are getting out of hand.
Poe2 got my girl and me on the couch playing almost every night. She(not an avid gamer) basically pulled me though most of the campaign on my first player, I would die because I wasn’t being smart and she’d finish the boss off and grab me, we both now are in endgame and the rolls have reversed, as she started out with warrior and I’m the monk, now we’ve gotten her ranger through the campaign and into endgame and we’re enjoying most every park of the atlas. (Let me zoom out further!!)

You should just lose the xp you've gotten from that map your on not xp from the last % maps you've completed. I've been stuck at lvl 93 forever because of Eternal Knights killing me with their trash green projectiles and It's insanely frustrating when I die and the last however many hrs of play wasted because I get oneshot. It's a stupid mechanic.

OP is really out of hand. People simply do not like the loss of XP because the game has too many one shot, bugs, and stupid visual design.
The game directors really need to [Removed by Support]. The game is not made for them. It is made for the players. So many vocal idiots who fanboy Grinding Gear so much. Yet they don't even make a sound when Grinding Gear refuse to ban a cheater because he is rich. |

The ratio in terms of experience is a joke.
You do a T15 map and get maybe 1% progress. You die and lose 9%. No intermediate steps, so you can only drop back to 20/40/60/80 percent, for example. Three deaths = three evenings spent playing for nothing. Forget real life. Pure frustration, disproportionate. Isn't PoE supposed to be fun? Then it's the wrong game for me. I understand everyone who's frustrated and puking their guts out here in the forum. Better name the game PitA2: Pain in the Ass 2. |
