PoE 2 Trade Database Invalid Query: Your account must be in-game to use this feature

I'm in the same boat, but I can be whispered to. I can sell but cannot buy, due to the Invalid query error message.

I can't believe im chasing these threads down...

It's not a fix for the problem that is causing us all this headache, but..
until GGG does get around to help everyone merge their characters and accounts, there is a way to trade.

When Trying to trade on the PoE2 Trade DB, instead of clicking "direct whisper" click the arrow next to it and select "copy whisper" then paste that in the in-game chat.

You have to merge Steam account to (old?) ggg account (poe1).
Then switch it on the site.

Worked for me.
