The solution is to port to Act2 normal and hand it the coin.
The event will trigger.
Worked for me, had the same issue.

Exactly same problem, the way of getting the 5 and 6 ascendency isn't well explained or they're bugged for a lot of people..

Which coin excatly? Sorry but there so many of them, some are level 28 with 1 number of trial, others are level 52 or 56 with 2 number of trials..

Didn't work for me, as of today, can't earn my third set of ascendency points (4 and 6)... wtf

Is there a fix for this written in a way everyone can understand?

I'm actually at endgame but i still haven't done, Trial of the Sekhemes because the boss at Traitor's passage will not drop the relic ... I also have a quest coin that I can't hand in, so yeah, definitely bugged out.

The quest marker is still there telling me to get to traitor passage but i have defeated the same boss over 10x thinking he\she will drop the relic but nothing each time, i'm not going back to traitors passage until GGG get's onto it.

please fix it GGG i need more power

oh and that's for PS5 ;) PS: i'll be on pc at full access...

It doesn't work for me :(

I have also killed the boss in traitors passage several times and have still not been able to complete the quest.

cannot get my 3rd ascend yet.
