+1, I can't add anything more articulate than this. There are parts of this EA that are frustrating, and there are (many more) parts that are fantastic, but Trial of the Sekhema makes me want to quit playing altogether. Any plans I had to purchase EA MTX packs are also on hold, for whatever that's worth.

current trial system is trash, they took imho worts mechanic from POE 1 where you needed fast and hard hitting build and force people with slow and weak builds to do it, gj GGG

+1. This is one aspect of the game where everyone seems to agree that significant rethinking and reworking is desperately and urgently needed. Even for people who are enjoying the rest of the game, the Trials are a baffling miss. For people who are struggling with the rest of the game, the Trials are just salt for the wound.

I fully read the post, but didnt read the 11 pages of feedback, but skipped but the general feedback is 100% behind one of the best posts on the forum

I do wish in this EA we had a upvote because this post will be on fire..

One thing that kills Live server games like ARPG / MMO are forced mechanics because once the people who dont like it stop playing then the trickle will become a river leaving the game. This isnt being scaremongering, this is reality ive seen over 20 years of gaming ...

Please GGG admit your mistake, either fully remove it, or make it more viable for EVERY class that isnt specced specially for these mechanics that they wont have built

Much love for the game, but this one big big problem is quickly draining any kudos and love you have gained for the game

These trials are the worst things they have introduced

It would be different if it was optional, but it gives you additional ascendancy points and that's completely stupid. I'd rather fight some mega-freaked boss than run through 30 rooms and dodge.

A very unpleasant experience

I got to floor 3 with full honour and a whole bunch of honour resistance. Enter boss room, djin tells me to stand on the platform. Do so, honour gets drained to 100.

+100000, As someone that intensively farm Sanctum at Sanctum League and Trial of Ancestor League, couldn't said it better than myself.

I don't dislike Trial of Sekhema as a content like Sanctum, I dislike Trial of Sekhema being a replacement of labyrinth without major redesign and rework of how Sanctum works. Dodge all you want in Trial of Sekhema, in the end of the day, bow build / spell / overall range build reign kings for this kind of content. And the balance of the game doesnt even help with melee builds to deal with Trial of Sekhema, or even Trial of Chaos.

In fact, I just did 4 Floors Trial of Sekhema at zone level 76 with my level 83 Invoker in SSF. By no means my gears are utter trash or godly, I worked my ass off to craft my 470-ish pdps quarterstaves , sitting at 12k evasion / 1,8k HP / 1,2k ES , 5-link on Tempest Bell , capped ress, overall I can say I have decent offensive capability and able to delete t12 atlas boss in less than 5 seconds, and yet these stats are far than enough to clear 4th floors leading to the boss, and the boss itself, as melee build. Why is it deadeye magnetic salvo lightning rod lighting arrow ball lighting cast on shock shenanigans can very quickly dps this boss or even insta phase arbiter of ash, while being fast enough to get all the hourglass withou Blink spirit skill, while being fully able to do dps AT RANGE, while the game just 1 week old.

When I did my 2nd and 3rd ascendancy, I did fail several runs, but the failures motivates me to get stronger and learn and be better. And I eventually overcame them, because I can see I can do it with my Invoker. With the last trial however, I just simply can't see any other way beside playing trade league and just insta buy gears worth hundred of exalts, and just repeat PoE 1.
