They changed direction somewhere along the way and made... this.

The game can have scarce items and be hard but still be fun. What they made is, for me and clearly a lot of others with me, a boring, tedious game.

every single time I saw John Rodgers in a video he has said over and over this is going to be a much harder game without the projectile spam builds and so on. You either did not watch these or do not remember. Go take a look back at every interview he's done on the topic.

They told you before hand that the game will be bad so therefore you can't be upset about it?

There's a real concept/belief tied to this regarding karma and evil. Hiding in plain sight. If you tell someone to their face you're going to commit or are committing an evil act, it doesn't count because you told the person or made them aware before you did it.

No, the point here is that the people who post are surprised that the game is Ruthless-level hard. When it was clear that this will be the case. They keep bringing up older information about how it is supposed to as easy as PoE 1 but with better graphics.

Path of exile 1 is still here, diablo 4 is still here, last epoch is around. Hell, you can play hero siege but the truth is you're all here for a reason and that is because GGG has impressed you in some way or another.

Relax, take a chill pill, go play another game or better yet take a break from games entirely. Cheers
