my build wasnt nerfed but yesterday i did TWO complete respecs testing it here and there, its not that hard to spend 2-3 hours farming orbs and selling rare items for gold to get the respec fee

problem with that is that not everyone lives in poe, i played as much as i could and my freeze build wasnt op, didn't know how op it was for some people apparently and it was nerfed for me to the point i can't use it aswell... just farm more gold? i tried to do it in a 58 zone as lvl 72 but it takes 5-7 hits or something to even kill white mobs with cold spells because they are so underpowered (comet was the only good one but not as self cast because of the cast time, self casting you're locked in place every time and die to any pack u try to cast it on 7/10 times) with the current state of cold spells i farmed 40k gold or something in a few hours today and i'd need 300-400k to respec into a different element... i should really spend a week or something just farming gold in a single instance to respec after they without a warning nerfed my build that wasn't op? you must be proud of yourself for living in this videogame and being all: boohoo! just spend 18 hours out of 24 every day nerding out in this one videogame and be like me and you won't have problems with gold etc! you're just forgetting people who do other things in life besides play poe all day
I appreciate the effort and passion that goes into the development of this game, but I feel compelled to provide some constructive feedback regarding recent updates and the overall direction of the game during early access.

Skill Nerfs and Gameplay Balance:
Recent adjustments, particularly to "cast on freeze," "cast on fire," "cast on shock," and "cast on crit" mechanics, have significantly impacted what made the game enjoyable for many players. While balance is important, early access should prioritize creating a fun and engaging experience for the community. These adjustments feel premature and overly restrictive, especially given that early access is meant for experimentation and refining core gameplay.

Rather than immediately focusing on nerfs, a better approach might be to observe the broader player base, collect data, and introduce adjustments after a longer observation period—perhaps two weeks to a month. This would allow for more informed balancing while maintaining the fun factor that early access players are looking for.

Campaign Quality of Life Improvements:
The campaign could benefit from tangible quality-of-life enhancements. For example:

Map size: After Act 1, the map sizes can feel unnecessarily large, leading to fatigue rather than immersion. Streamlining these areas would greatly enhance the overall experience.
Minion AI: Minion builds, while promising, are often rendered ineffective due to pathfinding issues, especially in corridor-heavy or doorway-centric maps. Improving AI navigation would address this problem and make these builds more viable across all map types.
Drop Rates and Economy:
The promised improvements to exalted orb drop rates haven’t been noticeable, with many players reporting little to no improvement even after extensive campaign play. If drop rates are adjusted, they should be communicated clearly with visible results to maintain player trust.

Respec Costs and Flexibility:
Respec costs are prohibitively high, particularly given the nerfs to core mechanics like "cast on" effects. Players who have invested significant time into their builds are now facing unreasonable barriers to adapt. Offering free respecs after such substantial changes or significantly reducing the respec cost would be a fair and player-friendly approach.

Communication with the Community:
Communication is crucial, especially during early access. Engaging openly with players—acknowledging feedback, providing updates, and discussing future plans—would foster goodwill and trust. Other games, such as Last Epoch, have demonstrated the value of consistent and transparent developer communication. Adopting similar practices could make a significant difference.

Monetary Investment and Trust:
Many of us are passionate supporters of this project, and some are considering significant financial contributions. However, the current trajectory, particularly the focus on nerfs over foundational improvements, has given pause. Building trust through visible improvements and better communication will be key to ensuring long-term player support.

In summary, the purpose of early access should be to refine the game with player feedback while prioritizing fun and accessibility. Addressing these issues would not only improve the current experience but also reassure the community that their time and investment are valued.

Thank you for your hard work, and I hope this feedback is helpful in shaping the future of the game.

PS: Remember the most valuable resource is TIME for your players and you should make their time worth it on your game.

So funny to see a lot of broken skill abuser ranting on the patch notes.

No hating but to players who played Cast on something , you know that the skill is broken on the first place right? You know it will get nerf real soon right? So why the fk you invest ton of hour on a broken unethical build?! And try to min max it with all of your currency and gold. Thats on you

Broken lol okay, did you by any chance play sorcerer at all? Any other build makes packs of white mobs into bigger challange than any boss fight.

Also no, didn't know that, I chose to avoid YT videos with this game and enjoy experimenting myself. I played cold sorc and came up with cast on freeze/crit build myself as those are made a super obvious choice by the game, CoC is the only real offensive passive in Elementalist tree and CoF is 3 "cast on" skills available when you reach that level of uncut skill gem.

They were finally making the game feel like an actual arpg, until they weren't. Now back to a slog and trash mobs that have no reward for the risk they pose.

man instead of spending second hour here crying you could've already farmed half of the respec cost

Thank you Daddy, agree on all points! I'll be eagerly watching and waiting for updates from GGG, but for now I'm going to hold off on playing more and tell my friends to wait on purchasing Early Access until some of these are addressed.
My character just lost 2 level why no one fixing it WTF?
LOL
Yikes, good thing I uninstalled. GGs games cooked

Lmao. Come the fuck on. You have nearly 200 pages of extremely negative feedback on your last patch, and you won't even address a BIT of it? This is egregiously bad.

Some of the extremely negative feedback comes from extremely bad players who should just shut up and leave. A decent portion of it for sure, i've seen it.

ok mr neckbeard... not everone lives on the game... i planned on a comet build even before the game came out... finally got to maps and instantly bricked with the update and no gold to respec and with the no dmg on cold spells i can barely kill mobs in lvl 58 zone in campaign... could farm 40k gold in a few hours today and i really tried and i'd need 300-400k to respec into a different element... which means a week of farming for gold in campaign just to maybe see them nuke the build i might try next (which is not op just like my build wasnt, yea there were broken versions probably using the skill aswell which was the reason for the nuke but mine wasnt and had no info about it and no warning of the nuke incoming...) i check updates basically every day to see if any changes are coming because i want to like this game but if they treat their community like this i might quit... they promised free respec after major changes and if bricking a ton of poeoples builds is not a major change then idk what is... they should have not released the early access... too unbalanced still and no help to the community of the game when they make major changes so people can test different stuff out... completely braindead decision on the way they orchestrated that patch
