So funny to see a lot of broken skill abuser ranting on the patch notes.

No hating but to players who played Cast on something , you know that the skill is broken on the first place right? You know it will get nerf real soon right? So why the fk you invest ton of hour on a broken unethical build?! And try to min max it with all of your currency and gold. Thats on you

My friends and I dropped the league until they fix the death of the triggers on 12.12.24. So far it's unpleasant to play. 7 years of making a game to shit in 4 days is commendable...

so no free respec?... i tried farming for gold and items to sell for gold in a 58 zone as frost mage while being 72 with decent gear and i need to hit WHITE MOBS 5-9 times with cold spells to kill them... comet ofc could kill them faster but that thing has a cast time which means rip in 60% of the fights... would need to respec all my passives to change into fire or lightning, spent few hours farming 40k gold.. cuz frost spells suck :) and i'd need i think around 300-400k gold... legit would need to farm for a week or something to be able to respec.. this is beyond stupid of ggg to not give free respec with a build bricking "balance" patch

they rly need to fix pc hard freezes, fireball srs rubberbanding and character firing spells\projectiles not on the cursor, everything else is just whining boo hoo my clearly op one-button disbalanced build that makes other builds look like trash and was CLEARLY getting nerfed soon was obviously nerfed my life is over, just respec it, there's like a gorilion% skill gem drop chance
my build wasnt nerfed but yesterday i did TWO complete respecs testing it here and there, its not that hard to spend 2-3 hours farming orbs and selling rare items for gold to get the respec fee

you're so near sighted... not everyone lives on poe... i planned on a comet build before the game even came out because i love frost skills in games, i played as much as i could and got to maps and i didn't have an insane build with it, i could clear tier 1 maps ok, died in like 3/10 maps kinda stats... and then had 13k gold because i was looking for boots upgrade because i couldn't find one since like lvl 28 and had 15% ms with meh other rolls... and then they bricked the build and no other cold spell does any damage... now trying to kill mobs in a 58 zone as lvl 72 and got from 12k gold to 58k or something in a few hours because white mobs there with cold spells take 5-8 hits to kill :) and i'd need to respec my whole passive tree because cold spells are useless right now since yea... u can't even kill mobs 20 lvls lower than you effectively in campaign act 3... i'd need to farm for a week or more just gold in campaign to be able to respec into a different build. u see how this is a problem for trying to have fun in a game i paid for? free respec would fix this issue and they promised that with big changes and this one is just that, it bricked tons of peoples builds and there was no warning even of this, otherwise i'd have known to save my gold and not try to fix my resistances etc... i liked poe1 and i want to like poe2 but the way they treat the community with this is making me change my mind and probably many other peoples aswell

I didn't know it was broken since I never googled a single thing and avoided all spoilers, for all I knew all characters could clear trash mobs pretty easily.

How would you build a cold chronomancer? Or am I just not allowed to play that class unless I want to spend an absolute age on every map?

I've gone through a lot of trial and error trying to pivot from Comet Sorceress to something I can actually imagine. It's like a gamble, where I keep hoping the input skills will work one way or another. I spent all of my gold refunding passive skills, but my build is still incomplete, and now I'm broke. To make things worse, my build is completely useless. Is there any chance you could give me some extra gold or a free refund due to the major changes from the patch? This patch is really frustrating. I mean stupid by the way!

Trialmaster still bugged. Please remove this from patch notes as most of us have already bricked at least 2x sets of fragments now.
