PS5 Game Performance is just awful and unplayable

So even with
*DYNAMIC RESOLUTION ON
*BILNEAR
*1920x1080
*SHADOWS ONLY
*BLOOM 25%
*60HZ
*DYNAMIC CULLING

In high density maps with rituals or breach fps drops to unplayable levels. And even then the graphics are set so low that all I see is pixelated fog.

Hope being able to play the game takes priority over content and balance.

Playing warrior, so not that much going on from my char. I cant even image a high caster or minion build.
Hope performance becomes a priority cause right now doing corrupted high maps is not viable.
Quit playing after a few maps in endgame.Lighting arrow is unplayable.Hitting 10 frames, i mean its ridiculious in almost 2025.All those videos where that main guy from GGG talked about how playing on consoles poe 2 will be almost better than pc was just huge bs.They played us very well
Just here to confirm same thing. Running 1080p, only shadows and so on. Just going through an empty map makes the game run in sub 30fps. It gets extra bad with all the tearing that occurs. Also, when combat gets a bit intensive all ground effects disappear, like poison or burning ground.

Maybe you guys can get som help from Sony to optimize the engine a bit more for the PS5?
Yes....try doing a spark sorcerer. I'm just on act 2 and just can't play like this. It's silly. With my Merc it was somewhat doable. With my sorceress? No. Its like playing in slowmo. To bad. Love the game. But its not playable like this.

It probably is because you have the activated the graphic settings removing effects to keep a high framerate when intensive workload occurs ?

thanks for that, ran a few maps actually better then the lowest settings, guess it uses gpu more then cpu.
Oh and my game does not look like diablo 2 original.
To the above poster, Ill try those settings. Ive tried about all the settings I can think of so thank you for a different combo to try. However, this is crazy. I played opening weekend (ps5) and I had 0 stability issues at all. The ONLY thing that slowed was at the town hubs. Thats it.

Ive ran NIS at all settings between 50% up to 77% and the No Upscale 3840x1662 with 0 issues. I also tried FSR/Quality and that opening weekend guys, I had 0 issues with anything stability wise outside the aforementions town hubs. Ive also encountered certain quality/performance options that completely black out my screen. Hud is viewable but thats it. Cant see the environment/your character, terrain, enemies et.

The frustration is that we as fans know what youre capable of doing. Ive never seen a smoother launch as far as stability issues goes. I was awestruck. Fans I believe are frustrated because they have seen and experienced what they know youre capable of from the offset and its regressing to the point we have to toggle this and toggle that which should not have to be a thing. More options is not a bad thing so thank you for those extra options as console players.

When the game runs smooth its so fun. I was having a fantastic time. Truly. Youve got a stellar product here. The potential is there. My latest example is I keep losing to Jamanra as the pause/lag/game paused happens frequently. Sometimes for more than a full second. A full second is the difference in combat of life and death. Especially if I cant get behind your companions shield in time or need to dodge roll. That one sec of not being able to use a flask or dodge roll can be insta death.

I/we KNOW what you can do with stability because weve seen it. On opening weekend of all times where you would expect that to happen. Youve guys at GGG got this. Please address it as soon as you can. Thank you
