" Playing in constant fear that anything fun and powerful you find can and will be nerfed sound incredibly boring and anti-fun. Most people just want a better way to experiment if they keep making sweeping changes like this. Also how is your insults at all helpful other than you brown nosing the devs for no reason? You're like the kid up front who reminds the teacher about homework. Last edited by Tsono#0224 on Dec 12, 2024, 10:10:52 AM

After last night, it sounds like I'll be playing PoE 2 alone... Unless...
I know this is Beta/Early Access, but considering it was paid it might be nice to reciprocate to your fans and supporters and let people respec if you gut their builds. In fact, it would make for a more interesting Beta if we could respec freely, not just in "my build is ruined!" cases. Like whenever, for beta testing purposes. I noticed some last night suggest that during EA/Beta, the Hooded One could offer respecs for little-to-nothing. This would be a great way to get players to try out more skills and builds. Knowing these sudden game changing patches could keep happening, but considering the time investment that people have into their characters, this would be a great move if you won't let the players with Sorcs and Cast on X builds get a respec. It's a far more eloquent solution in a beta to let your testers do just that - test. Test without consequence, it's beta. Test with consequence (and pay money to do it), you could be a bit kinder to your beta testers. The game is so buggy and all we've done is provide feedback to make PoE 2 ready for you to launch and profit off, as any beta. Testers shouldn't be punished in this way, especially if they are charged to test the game for you. Instead of ever being asked for a respec again for the next months, just let people respec freely as patches come in and try different things. You'll get far more data for your beta! P.S. It really seems Comet is the main culprit, would disabling Comet in beta instead of totally gutting an entire Class and many other builds have been a better choice? At least those players could have tried another skill. Veritania: When was the last time you saw the sun, Exile? The true sun. Do you even understand who early access, beta, alpha etc work properly? you release game, you watch players, how they are playing, what they are playing, you gather info, you contact with your audience to tell them what they think that must be done, you listen to their opinions, you make or you dont not make a changes. Are you making game for yourself, or for players? Dont forget, that w/o players support you at the start of poe 1, poe 2 wouldnt even exist today. Listen to the audience

It wasn't a nerf to CoF, it was a brick... You could have started the nerfs to this build in small steps, but you prefered to destroy it. I'm quitting.

They will kill every powerful or fun-to-play build. It looks like their vision is a boring ARPG souls-like.
